Twilight’s Kristen Stewart Reads Fifty Shades of Grey

If there’s any book out there that’s been talked about until people are blue in the face it’s Twilight inspired erotica novel “Fifty Shades of Grey” by housewife E.L James.

This past week the often witty and outrageous MTV news reporter Josh Horowitz sat down with the cast of Snow White and The Huntsman, and made certain cast members including Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, and Charlize Theron read excerpts from the novel aloud.

Kristen Stewart, who fans are dying to see play the role of Anastasia Steele, admitted that while she didn’t pick the book up yet, or googled Twilight erotic, she was interested to see what people were writing about her character. Stewart, who could barely get through the “inner goddess” and “happy trail” lines without giggling was a true sport about reading the excerpt.

Chris Hemsworth, who has been on the dream list of every housewife to play the elusive and beautifully stunning Christian Grey was less than enthusiastic about playing into the whole bit Horowitz was trying to capture with the cast, reading one line and then giving the book back. However, it was Charlize Theron who stole the show by reading the novel with gusto, playfully acting out the lines with a giggling and sometimes apprehensive Horowitz.

As of right now the novel has been optioned by Universal Studios and while the film isn’t even in pre-production yet, there have been exciting whispers over who might be cast in the two lead roles. Chris Hemsworth has been at the top of everyone’s lists with White Collar’s Matthew Bomer a close second, and even Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder has said that he’s very interested in the role.

While there has been a lot of talk about who will embody Christian Grey, barely any names have popped like Kristen Stewart for the role of virginal college student Anastasia Steele. Who do you think is a good fit?
