Zayn Malik, Rita Ora Spotted On Date — But It’s Not What You Think!
Zayn Malik was spotted on a dinner date with Rita Ora just a day after the British pop star dissed him in a recent interview.
Rita Ora recently said that she would never date Zayn Malik, but he may feel differently about the beauty. The two were spotted having dinner in Los Angeles, but it was only business-related. According to a previous report via the Mirror, their dinner date was arranged by their Turn First management. An inside source told the Daily Mail that “a group of artists and staff” sat at the same table as Rita and Zayn.
“They were both at a dinner organized by a member of their management team. There was a group of artists and staff from Turn First at the get together. There is nothing going on between Rita and Zayn.”
The platinum blonde pop star was seen going braless in a light pink sequin top with skinny jeans. Meanwhile, Zayn kept it cool and casual in a varsity jacket worn over an AC/DC t-shirt. He was also spotted with his newly colored gray hair.

Looks like this dinner was strictly platonic. However, an inside source told the Hollywood Life that Malik would like to be more than just friends with the “super sexy” singer.
“Zayn would date Rita in a heartbeat. He’s always had a crush on her and thinks she’s super sexy. He would also love to collaborate with her on a song. He likes that Rita is bold and speaks her mind. They have the same management team, but that won’t stop Zayn from pursuing her romantically.”
Another report claims that Malik is open to becoming friends with Ora. An alleged source told Dish Nation that he’s abandoned all his friends in favor of his solo music career, and would like to make music with the “Body On Me” singer.
“Zayn is walking around like a bear with a sore head, ready to poke fights with anyone, and he can’t seem to make friends anywhere. He now sees Calvin as an enemy is and reaching out to Rita to see if they can create some music together.”
“The added bonus of that is that Rita had an acrimonious split with Calvin and could be willing to deliver some snarky lines. The duet would certainly create headlines and get a message out to the world.”
Unfortunately, for Malik, the “Poison” singer doesn’t want to date the Bradford boy. During her interview with Capital FM, she acted awkwardly when asked about Malik.
“Zayn, he’s gorgeous, but I just…That can’t happen. We’re on the same management team – too close to home for that. But, no, he’s great.”
It would make sense for Rita Ora not to mix business with pleasure once again. She previously dated DJ Calvin Harris. Things got messy between the exes when he refused her to perform the song they made together. Maybe Ora and Malik talked about their distaste for the “How Deep Is Your Love” hit maker during their dinner.
Zayn found himself in a mini Twitter feud with Calvin when he posted an image of Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus. The image showed Swift and Cyrus’ opposite views on making money in the industry. Ora said in the October 2015 issue of Marie Claire magazine that Harris was as not supportive of her career as she would have liked.
“There was a reason why I split up with him…it was more of a thing where I was in awe. I was at that point in my relationship where I felt he could do no wrong. I thought he had my back and that he’d never steer me wrong. But then ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ came out, and everything started to go a bit weird. I don’t know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what.”
