‘Big Brother 17’ Spoilers: Eviction Results, New ‘BB17’ HOH Takes Power

Big Brother 17 spoilers from September 10 begin with a new jury member. Previous Big Brother 17 spoilers indicated that a shift in the voting strategy might be happening, with the three BB17 voters saving Liz Nolan and sending out Julia Nolan instead. A report from fan site Joker’s Updates confirms that it was indeed Julia who got evicted by a 3-0 vote. Julia is now the sixth member of the BB17 jury.

Austin Matelson and Vanessa Rousso voted to evict Julia, while John McGuire simply went with the majority and also voted against Julia. The remaining five houseguests then had to work at deciding who would become the next Head of Household. Steve Moses wasn’t allowed to play as the outgoing HOH, leaving Austin, Vanessa, John, and Liz to battle it out. The importance of this challenge could not be understated, especially with how much drama the BB17 house has had over the last week.

These Big Brother 17 spoilers need to also point out that during the Thursday night episode, the producers showed quite a bit of footage that made it seem like the eviction idea came from Vanessa. It did not. The twins decided to call out Vanessa on an offer she had made repeatedly to them. She kept telling them that she would let the twins decide who was going to get evicted next, and they finally called her on what was mostly a bluff. Together with Austin, they told Vanessa that the plan was to evict Julia and leave Liz in the house.

Vanessa created a situation that doesn’t help her at all, but based on how she has played the season thus far, it’s not far-fetched to assume she could convince Liz and Austin to side with her again. With the numbers quickly dwindling, this is the point where everyone starts working on alliances with everyone else left in the game. It’s also a terrible point to not be the HOH, as that is the only person among the final five that is guaranteed safety for Week 12.

As for who won the September 10 HOH competition, Big Brother 17 spoilers reveal it’s an endurance challenge that could go deep into the night. Stay tuned, fans, as updates will be forthcoming. The challenge itself involves working eggs through chicken wire, as has been done several times in previous seasons. The object was to be the first person to get 10 eggs through the chicken wire course. Austin took a quick lead, but was surpassed by Vanessa and John. Vanessa Rousso kept up a steady pace and won the Week 12 Head of Household competition.

With the earlier schedule, it could bump up the production schedule during Week 12. What is known is that the nominations will come out on Friday, September 11, and that the Veto competition is on Saturday, September 12. The Big Brother 17 spoilers from this coming week are going to be very intriguing for fans.
