Caitlyn Jenner To Ellen DeGeneres: ‘I Had Too Many Children’

Caitlyn Jenner made a joke during her appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ show that her children probably won’t be too happy about, as she joked that she already has “too many children.”

According to Radar Online, Jenner made these remarks when she was asked by Ellen if she would be dating either men or women in the future. And while Caitlyn didn’t provide a concrete answer, she admitted that it’s a huge issue in the trans-gender community, before she then made a joke at the expense of her six children and four step-children.

“This is a tremendous issue with the trans community. Everybody would love to have a partner, everybody wants to have a family… For me, I’m at such a different place in life. I already had too many children – just kidding.”

While as Bruce Jenner, Caitlyn was the father to two children, Burton and Cassandra, with his first wife Chrystie Scott, before he then had Brandon and Sam with Linda Thompson, and then Kendall and Kylie with Kris Kardashian. Caitlyn Jenner is also extremely close to Kris Kardashian’s four children that she had with Robert Kardashian, named Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob.

65-year-old Caitlyn Jenner sat down with the talk show host and comedienne to talk about her transition from being a man to a woman, and the duo touched upon the I Am Cait star’s conservative views on marriage, which have since changed.

“I have to admit that I remember 15 years ago or 20 years ago, whatever it was, when the whole gay marriage issue [first] came up, at first I was not for it. I thought, I’m a traditionalist,” Caitlyn Jenner told DeGeneres.

She continued, “I’m older than a lot of people in the audience. I kind of like tradition, and it’s always been between a man and a woman. And I’m thinking, I don’t quite get it.”

Caitlyn Jenner’s appearance on The Ellen Show was the first episode of DeGeneres’ thirteenth season of her talk show. Caitlyn’s comments regarding gay marriage have since provoked a divisive response from her fans, with Ellen DeGeneres complaining to Howard Stern, via Newsmax, about Caitlyn’s remarks during her own interview with the shock jock.

“She still has a judgment about gay marriage. You’re wanting people to understand and accept you — this is like really confusing to people and you still have a judgment about gay people and marriage… it was a great interview.”

“I’m grateful that she was on the show. And I don’t really know her and I’m trying to understand it because I don’t fully understand it either — but I also want everyone to be happy. So I don’t fully understand all of that, but I want her to be happy.”
