Tom Brady Divorce Threats From Gisele Bundchen? Brady’s Deflategate Fallout Includes ‘Race Card’ & Wife [Video]

Tom Brady has been in the news lately on topics ranging from divorce to Deflategate. So when Tom had the chance to tell his side of the story on a radio talk show, Brady tackled the toughest topics in a way befitting a Patriots quarterback, reported MSN.

Dishing on the Dennis and Callahan radio show, Tom kicked off with Deflategate. And while Brady currently has triumphed in some ways, he responded to the question that some want to know — was he set up?

Tom began by admitting he had some personal views but then carefully avoided expressing them.

“I’ve got a lot of personal feelings about this… I’ve got to put whatever feelings I have aside,” said Brady. “The more you think about what happened, the more it takes away from what I’m trying to experience.”

As for the persistent divorce rumors that Tom and Gisele Bundchen may divorce, Brady denied them.

“We’re in a great place. I’ll just say that. I’m a lucky man. I’m very blessed. … There’s no bigger supporter I have than her.”

But although Tom was definite in the interview that everything’s fine with his marriage, Brady’s wife talked with a divorce lawyer, according to Us Weekly.

Gisele and Tom have been married for six years. And although they have plenty of money, they also have plenty of fights lately, said an insider.

At 35, Bundchen is at the top of the ladder in terms of supermodel salaries, while Tom makes more than $13 million a year. But the 38-year-old New England Patriots quarterback, who recently received some negative publicity about his knowledge regarding deflating footballs, has behaved in a way that upset his wife, according to the source.

“Tom’s become very nasty and irritable and started acting out on her,” added the insider.

As a result of Brady’s battles, Gisele decided it was time to talk with a divorce lawyer, claims the source. However, the two remain together.

With two children (Benjamin is 5 and Vivian is 2), Tom and Gisele even were together for Brady’s hearing on August 31 about Deflategate.

“Things are very tense right now. This could be the end of them,” warned one insider.

And Tom may have more than a Divorcegate in his future as part of the fallout from Deflategate.

Brandon Marshall, a Jets wide receiver, discussed Deflategate and his views on a federal judge’s decision about Brady, including whether Tom’s race influenced the outcome, reported Sporting News.

Marshall feels that Tom was treated differently because of his race and that some feel Brady had an advantage because he is white.

“The race card. There are a lot of players out there that believe that white players — specifically, at the quarterback position — are treated differently. This is not just from our locker room, this is from locker rooms across the states. This is how guys are feeling. This is not just my opinion. These are conversations I’m having with guys. It’s just not African-American players. I’ve had this conversation with Caucasian players as well.”

And the end result of the Deflategate fallout is a fall in the polls, reported NBC News.

Compare the numbers. In 2013, Tom rated 23 percent unfavorably and 39 percent favorably. Now, 34 percent regard Brady on the unfavorable side, while the percentage of those who feel that their opinion of Tom remains favorable has dropped to 21 percent.
