Corey Simms’ Twins Were With His Father Prior To Police Allegedly Being Called On Leah Messer

Corey Simms spent the weekend with his twins, Ali and Aleeah, 5, and his father, Jeff Simms. On Instagram on September 7, two days prior to reports of police being called on Leah Messer, Jeff shared a photo of Corey Simms’ two daughters in a pool.

“Summer fun with Gracie and Ali! #aligrace,” Corey Simms’ father captioned the photo.

Days later, however, the summer fun had allegedly ended, and police were called on Corey Simms’ ex-wife, Messer, who was accused of endangering their two children. As the Inquisitr previously reported, a concerned parent from Corey Simms’ daughter’s school was said to have reported Messer to police after noticing her children were not safely buckled in her vehicle.

On September 9, a source gave In Touch Weekly the following information.

“Cops were called after someone at her girls’ [twins Ali and Aleeah, 5] school reported Leah to them, claiming she doesn’t put the kids in car seats. Leah is routinely late picking the girls up from school.”

According to the source, police eventually pulled Corey Simms’ ex-wife over in her vehicle, but at the time, the children were said to have been buckled in properly. The source also alleged Messer, who split from Corey Simms in 2011 after admitting to cheating on him, hadn’t been bringing Ali’s wheelchair to school. Because of Ali’s muscular dystrophy, her parents arranged for the young child to have the chair, which she appears to use only part-time.

“Leah doesn’t even bring Ali’s wheelchair to school. During a recent fire drill, Ali was unable to get out quickly and had to be assisted.”

On Teen Mom 2, Corey Simms pointed out that Ali was also not taken to her physical therapy as scheduled, and during one scene, she was seen skipping one of her daughter’s appointments.

Corey Simms hasn’t yet spoken out about the incident.

Also on Season 6 of Teen Mom 2, Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, whom he wed in June 2013, confronted Messer with allegations of a possible “drug problem,” which she denied. According to the couple, there’s more to her story than she’s revealed, and because of that, they have been supportive of her decision to seek what she refers to as “intense therapy.”
