‘Arrow’ Season 4: Everything We Know So Far, Premiere Date, New Poster Revealed

With the upcoming season of Arrow currently in production, there are plenty of things fans can look forward to as the series moves into its fourth season. From returning characters and new faces, to a brand new lair, here are the top things to expect from the new season of Arrow.

For starters, a new poster has been released from Den of Geek that features a premiere date and a good look at Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). The image shows off just how Green Arrow’s new costume is going to look, which also hints at the storyline for the coming season.

In addition to a new getup, Oliver is set to get a new and improved headquarters for his team of crime fighters.

“One of the fun things about this lair is that as opposed to one big space, where everyone would congregate, it’s now a much larger space divided up into smaller spaces,” Marc Guggenheim said regarding the new headquarters. “There is an area for Felicity [Emily Bett Rickards] to work, there is an area for Oliver to work out, and there is a garage. There are many different places we’ll continue to discover over the course of the season that give you a sense that this thing is a bit bigger than we got used to in the first three years.”

Speaking of new things, Oliver will also be undergoing some major changes of his own. Along with taking on the name Green Arrow, producer Wendy Mericle recently revealed that there other changes ahead for the character in the upcoming season.

“We sort of look at season four, not as a reboot, but sort of as a big shift for Oliver Queen’s character,” Wendy explained to Movie Pilot.

“In this season, he’s in a completely different place. He’s happy, and in love!”

Meanwhile, a number of characters from last season are also set to make their return, including Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), Diggle (David Ramsey), Laurel Lance/Black Canary (Katie Cassidy), Thea Queen (Willa Holland), and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman).

At the same time, season four will also be featuring a variety of new characters. These new faces include the likes of Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), Constantine (Matt Ryan), Double Down (JR Bourne), Anarky (Alexander Calvert), Mr. Terrific (Echo Kellum), and Baron Blitzkreig (Jimmy AKingbola).

Season 4 of Arrow is set to air October 7 on The CW.
