Tom Brady Divorce: Patriots Quarterback Denies Split Rumors, Says Things With Gisele Are ‘Great’

Tom Brady is shooting down divorce rumors, saying things between him and supermodel Gisele Bundchen are “great” and shooting down reports that the couple is headed for a split.

Brady was appearing on the Dennis & Callahan show on WEEI when the subject of the divorce rumors came up. Reports in the past few weeks have claimed that Gisele is fed up with Tom and ready to leave him.

Brady said that’s just not the case.

“We’re in a great place, I’ll just say that,” Brady said. “I’m a lucky man.”

In fact, Tom Brady said his wife is behind him completely. That was on display last week, when Gisele shared an Instagram picture of Tom playing with his kids in the backyard, writing, “my heart melts.”

“There’s no bigger supporter that I have than her, and vice versa,” Brady said. “I don’t think anything will ever get in the way of that.”

That is quite a bit different than rumors that had been spreading in recent weeks, claiming that Tom Brady was headed for divorce. A source told OK! Magazine that the couple’s relationship was crumbling.

“Things between Tom and Gisele have been strained for a long time,” a source told the magazine. “Gisele is ramping up the social media activity because her marriage is breaking down.”

The source said that much of the trouble stemmed from a fight the couple had at Brady’s birthday dinner.

“As soon as they got home, things really came to a head,” the insider said. “They started bickering and it turned into a fight where they each dredged up every issue with the other that they’d been suppressing.”

Gisele wasn’t the only one reportedly unhappy in the relationship. The source claimed:

“Tom has very different views on parenting than Gisele, and he has had it with the insane organic, GMO-free diet that she insists everyone in the house follows. She even makes Tom cook the childrens’ meals when she is not at home, despite the fact that they have a full-time staff. She doesn’t trust them to feed the kids, so Tom is cooking and cleaning. It’s crazy!”

With Tom Brady squashing the divorce rumors, things are now looking decidedly up for the New England Patriots quarterback. He just had his four-game suspension overturned by a federal judge, and his team will start their Super Bowl defense on Thursday night in the NFL season opener.
