Kailyn Lowry And Javi Marroquin Celebrate Three Years Of Marriage After ‘Teen Mom 2’ Divorce Comments
Kailyn Lowry and her husband, Javi Marroquin, celebrated their three-year wedding anniversary over the weekend. Although the Teen Mom 2 couple discussed a possible divorce during the currently airing sixth season of the MTV reality show, they have since gotten through their hard times, which Kailyn Lowry spoke of on Instagram.
On September 3, Real Mr. Housewife announced Kailyn Lowry and her husband traveled to Boston, where they celebrated three years of marriage. While in town, Kailyn Lowry shared a photo of a dog tag, which featured a photo of herself and Marroquin, and read, “We’ve cried. We’ve laughed. We’ve smiled.” Along with the photo, Kailyn Lowry wished her husband a Happy Anniversary.
“Happy 3rd wedding anniversary to my best friend! Despite an extremely tough year for the two of us, we’ve made it. And I know we will always get through any trying times we will face in the future. Sept. 5th, 2012 @javim9.”
Marroquin also shared a message on Instagram.
“Today marks 3 years of being married to my best friend. Thank you for giving me a family I always wanted. Thank you for being by my side through our roughest year. I can’t thank you enough for everything you do. I love you so much @kaillowry.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kailyn Lowry and her husband discussed the possibility of filing for divorce a number of times throughout season six, but luckily, they managed to work things out and currently have no plans to part ways. Speaking to Us Weekly months after the season was filmed, Kailyn Lowry confirmed she and Marroquin were committed to their relationship — despite the hard times they went through after moving to Delaware.
“Ultimately we made it through. I just think it was trying to get on the same parenting page with Lincoln, and Lincoln was probably only 6 months old [at the time], and I think it was easier for me to make friends in Delaware, because I would go to my breastfeeding support group, CrossFit, stuff like that. And for him, he’s at work all day.”
Kailyn Lowry relocated to Delaware from Pennsylvania due to Marroquin career in the Air Force. Since moving, the couple has come to blows over Lowry’s independence, as well as her friendships with other men. However, according to Kailyn Lowry, Marroquin has nothing to be suspicious over.
