‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Stars Jade Roper, Tanner Tolbert Share Updates On Relationship

The Season 2 Bachelor in Paradise finale aired Monday night on ABC, and fans were thrilled with the romantic ending that one couple scored. Though there was plenty of heartbreak throughout this season, there was also love as Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert got engaged. What do the two say now that the show has ended?

As fans saw during the After Paradise show, Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert are still together, engaged, and very much in love. The two shared that they’ve been spending a lot of time together and have even been talking about having a relatively short engagement and getting married next summer.

Jade and Tanner talked with People and shared some additional details. Roper says she’s never felt this way about anybody else, and she knows that the relationship they’ve developed is special and rare. She says that they spent a lot of quiet time together during filming, where they talked about anything and everything. Jade says a lot of their quality time together came in the early mornings before producers put on their microphones.

Viewers watched as Tanner and Jade connected at the very beginning of the season and never gave anybody else the time of day. While Tolbert admits that getting engaged after just three weeks is crazy, he details that the intense amount of time they spent together while filming is more like nine months of dating in the regular world.

The Bachelor in Paradise couple says they took this opportunity seriously though it was also fun and natural. Though the relationship was definitely condensed, they had hard conversations in the midst of the fun and easy ones. The two shared during After Paradise that things have gotten even better since filming ended.

As soon as the show was over, Jade and Tanner shared some new photos via Instagram. Tuesday morning, Jade posted a picture showing her wearing her engagement ring. She noted that the picture was taken by Tanner in Mexico the day after they got engaged.

Tanner also shared a picture via his Instagram, and his note about his first kiss with Jade being his last first kiss will certainly make Bachelor in Paradise fans swoon. The two certainly seem to be head-over-heels in love and looking toward a future together.

From the sounds of things, Jade soon will be formally moving to be with Tanner, and the two are not shy about talking about the future. Will they do so well that they will end up getting married next summer as Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise begins, much like Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul did this summer? Fans are definitely hopeful and can’t wait to see what comes next for Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert.
