Watch India Vs. Iran Football Live Online: Start Time, Streaming Video For FIFA Qualifying Tournament

Fans can watch the India vs. Iran football match live online and see which team can move toward 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification.

The two teams will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. local time from Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore in what looks to be a critical match for India’s World Cup hopes.

Though India is hosting the match, Iran will have a large contingent of fans. When their coach, the 62-year-old Carlos Queiroz, arrived at Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore there were already crowds of Iranian fans waiting for him.

India appears to be preparing for what coach Stephen Constantine called a “difficult” match.

“I hope we can give the fans something to cheer about. It will be very difficult match for us but that’s the time when you can discover on whom you can depend upon,” Constantine said (via Press TV).

Fans who watch the India vs. Iran football match live online will likely see an uphill battle for the host Indian team. In their most recent FIFA World Cup qualifying match, they dropped a 2-1 decision to Guam, which is playing in its first qualifying tournament.

Prior to that India had lost a qualifying match to Oman, and a loss would put them in serious trouble in Group D. The Indian team is already in last in the group.

They will face an opponent at the other end of Group D. Iran, the group leader and FIFA’s highest ranked Asian team, battered Guam 6-0 in a match in Tehran last week.

The Iranian team is coming off a string of strong matches and appear well-positioned for the remainder of the FIFA qualifying matches.

Goal.com discussed the team.

The Sher-e-Iran are a team ebbing with confidence as witnessed in their last game as Guam were dismantled. The Iranians have played 12 games since their exit at the group stages of the World Cup 2014 in Brazil and have won eight of them, including a famous win over Copa America winners Chile, at the Azadi stadium. Carlos Queiroz, their gaffer is vastly experienced at this stage and will be aware of how to mitigate the continent’s 27th best ranked nation away from home. The Portuguese also has a relatively young side at his disposal who are dependant on proving a point in this group.
