Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly Continues To Clobber Megyn Kelly In Cable News Ratings

Don’t believe the hype — Megyn Kelly is not beating Bill O’Reilly in the cable news ratings. The proof comes when averaging ratings from the previous week at Zap2It. While Kelly averaged an excellent 2.8 million viewers a night, O’Reilly averaged an amazing 3.13 million viewers.

Both O’Reilly and Kelly had a drama-filled week. O’Reilly started the week by describing how he believes Donald Trump is really helping the Democrats.

“Trump’s style has captivated millions of Americans and his campaign has been very successful thus far. So successful, that it has almost obliterated the fact that the Democratic president, and the party in general, have failed to improve America.”

Mr. O’Reilly then ranted about how the President Obama has hurt the country.

“Consider this. About two million more citizens live in poverty since President Obama took office. Poverty among women has increased by 1 million. Among blacks the poverty rate is up nearly 1.5 percent since President Obama was first elected.”

O’Reilly went on to add that median income for all working Americans has dropped an average of $2,000 since 2009, and that 2.5 million undocumented immigrants have entered the United States since Obama started his tenure.

Like O’Reilly, Megyn Kelly talked a lot about race this week. Her segment about how African Americans are fighting against the Black Lives Matter movement really raised some hairs. She aired a clip of an interview with an African American marine named Michael Whaley.

“Black Lives Matter Movement only promotes racism and now they’re encouraging black people to go kill white people because they want white people to feel what we felt 400 years ago. Newsflash, were you living 400 years ago? No.”

Later in the week, Kelly had a controversial interview with Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, who showed his support for Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who refused to give out marriage licenses for gay people.

“Well, what happened today is an outrage [Kim’s jail sentence]. It is fundamentally wrong. For the first time, we are seeing a Christian woman thrown in jail for standing up for her faith,” Cruz passionately told said.

Mr. Cruz went on to summarize that he will stand up for anyone who is persecuted for their faith. Megyn Kelly told him that Davis is allowed to practice her faith and beliefs, but — perhaps — she shouldn’t be in the role of handing out marriage licenses.

You can bet that Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly will continue to harp on the Kim Davis jail sentence, the Black Lives Matter movement, and Hillary Clinton’s alleged illegal emails all thoughout the coming week. You can also bet that both O’Reilly and Kelly will continue to rule the cable news ratings, as well.
