Fredrik Eklund Falls In Love With Napa Valley: What Did He Do To Bring Memories Home?

Fredrik Eklund has been focusing on his life and his career since wrapping up the fourth season of Million Dollar Listing: New York. And there is plenty to celebrate for this upcoming father. Not only has Eklund set several real-estate records in New York this year, but he has also found a surrogate for his first child, and Fredrik is expected to become a father later this year. Plus, Million Dollar Listing has been nominated for yet another Emmy, meaning his career is going in the right direction.

But Fredrik Eklund doesn’t always stay in New York. Fredrik and his husband, Derek Kaplan, will often go for weekend visits to Miami or somewhere warm. And this weekend, they decided to go to California — more specifically, Napa Valley. And Eklund was more than willing to share his trip with his followers.

According to a new Instagram post, Fredrik Eklund seems to be enjoying Napa Valley. In fact, he called it a paradise, which he seems more than happy to enjoy with his husband.

“Experiencing Napa Valley… driving through the little towns, meeting the proud winemakers showing us the barrels and caves, sipping or spitting, eating lemon-ricotta pancakes, and cinnamon walnut rolls as I’m gaining weight and loving it (Derek says it’s good because there will be more of me),” Fredrik Eklund reveals, hinting that things are great with him and his husband.

“I’m amazed by the weather: there is no humidity, just perfection all around, like if 500 scientists were locked into a lab for 100 years to research the world’s best climate, and this is their result. The sky is eternally blue, until it smiles in pink, which is when these very rare fireworks palm trees reflect in my glass of cold local Sauvignon Blanc. So I buy case after case to be shipped back to NY and our new apartment, I mean how can you not want all of it at home…? and now I almost have enough to invite you all over for some wine (=California’s love in a bottle) at FreDerek’s new house this Fall,” he adds.

It sounds like Fredrik Eklund is truly enjoying the California sun and weather. Eklund and his husband recently bought a home in Miami as a weekend retreat for them once they have little Milla. A few days ago, Eklund posted an emoticon that could hint that they are having twins, but Fredrik hasn’t confirmed anything.
