Kyra Sedgwick And Kevin Bacon Celebrate 27 Years Of Marriage, Prove That True Love Exists
Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon have got it going on. Sedgwick and Bacon just celebrated their 27th anniversary on Friday, September 4. That’s a long time in Hollywood years. To commemorate the occasion, Bacon shared pics of him and Sedgwick on Instagram and Twitter. Kyra is one lucky girl — who knew Kevin Bacon was so romantic?

Kyra and Kevin were married in 1988 and have two children, Travis, 26, and Sosie, 23. They started dating after they met on the set of Lemon Sky, but Kevin just recently confessed to Huffpost Celebrity that he met Kyra when she was only 12-years-old. It seems that Sedgwick and Bacon were always destined to be together, in 2013 they found out they were 10th cousins once removed. Sedgwick and Bacon have both had prolific acting careers — Kyra got her start on the soap opera Another World, and has since starred in dozens of movies and TV shows. Kyra has also won acclaim for her role as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on The Closer, earning several nominations and awards for the series. She is now working on the TNT drama, Proof starring Jennifer Beals. Kyra has starred with her husband in Pyrates, Murder in the First, The Woodsman, and Loverboy. Bacon has also starred in countless films such as Tremors, Flatliners, Footloose and many more. His most recent project was the role of Ryan Hardy on The Following. Ryan was a former FBI detective on the trail of a serial killer. The series was canceled after three seasons.
How does a Hollywood power couple like Sedgwick and Bacon stay married so long? In a Today interview last year, Kyra spilled the secret to a long marriage.

Kyra and Kevin both support each other and show their support in public through Twitter and Instagram. Sedgwick has dished about their sex life which just may be the secret of their long-lived marriage. Bacon also attributed their sex life as a way to get over the Madoff incident.
