Lil Wayne and Christina Milian have been spending time working on their careers and dealing with personal tragedy over the early part of September. However, a song leaked around September 5 by Christina Milian can make fans wonder if the lyrics are about Lil Wayne.
Lately, it can be difficult to get a pulse on the relationship between Lil Wayne and Christina Milian. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, fans have had few opportunities to analyze if Lil Wayne and Christina Milian are busy or broken up.
Nevertheless, they did perform together on August 22 for the Billboard Music Awards Hot 100 Fest, and Latina reported on August 24 that Christina Milian stated her love on stage for Lil Wayne. Despite this brief interaction, August and September have been a busy time for Lil Wayne and Christina Milian.
Sadly, Christina Milian may not have time for a relationship with Lil Wayne because she has been preoccupied by a family tragedy involving the death of her newborn nephew.
The Mirror reported on August 27 that Christina Milian’s nephew passed away about 24 hours after his birth. The unfortunate death may have been related to in utero birth defects that the Daily Mail reported on June 19.
Clearly a tragic time in Christina Milian’s life, she has been seen out and about in Los Angeles in late August without Lil Wayne, according to the Daily Mail.
Regardless, the latest news has been that her newest song “Give Me the World” has been leaked — and the lyrics may have a Lil Wayne message.
Although the song was posted on SoundCloud around August 22 by producer Soundz, it only caught the attention of the media around September 4. On Soundz’s SoundCloud page with Christina Milian’s latest song, he writes, “I got gems I’ve been sitting on.”
But are Christina Milian’s lyrics directly about Lil Wayne? In some instances, Christina Milian’s lyrics appear to be about anyone in general. For instance, the “Give Me the World” lyrics open with the following.
“I’m just looking for a real love. I just don’t know what I’m looking for…. I just need someone to give me more. I am ready to give my heart to someone’s that worth it.”
Interestingly, after the opening, Christina Milian may be focusing on Lil Wayne when she starts alluding to the fact that if someone has lots of money, they still cannot win her heart because she’s looking for more than that — because she wants them to give her the world.
As the song progresses, Christina Milian manifests her ideal partner with the line, “Can you bring me back to life and still take my breath away?”
In the end, fans may be able to discern from “Give Me the World” that Christina Milian has a tall order for anyone that wants to be her partner — and trust will be the ultimate test for Lil Wayne if Christina Milian lives the life she sings about in her songs.
