Kris Jenner Losing Caitlyn’s Last Name, Going Back To Kardashian
Kris Jenner is reportedly done being tied to her ex-spouse, Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, and is ready for a huge change in her life. Kris is allegedly going back to her former married name of Kardashian, the very name she made famous with reality TV series Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
According to Radar Online, Kris Jenner wants to be a Kardashian again, and wants nothing to do with Caitlyn Jenner’s name anymore. Kris has reportedly already started the process of switching her name back to her first married name and has been thinking about making the change since Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair magazine article, which hurt Kris’ feelings and left her feeling betrayed.
“She’s begun the paperwork to legally change her last name to Kardashian.”
Sources reveal that although Kris Jenner’s divorce from her first husband, the late Robert Kardashian, was “ugly,” the mother of six “says it’s time to dump Jenner and re-brand herself.”
As fans may remember, Kris wanted to return to being a Kardashian in the past while still married to Bruce Jenner. The “momager” reasoned that she was constantly being called Kris Kardashian and that it would be easier for business reasons to become a Kardashian yet again. However, after Bruce and Kris’ youngest children, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, expressed upset over the name change idea, Kris decided to drop it. Now that Kris and Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce, are divorced and living separate lives, the only thing holding her to her Jenner name is Kendall and Kylie. However, at this point in time the Kardashian name is a bit more famous. However, with the emergence of Kendall and Kylie, who knows which name will be worth more in the future.
“Kardashian is the core name associated with the family’s brand. Kris thinks the name will bring more bang for the buck.”
Meanwhile, Kris Jenner is already starting to get used to her old name, and has been making changes around her office to reflect her decision.
“She’s already altered her stationary and letterhead to reflect her new name.”
The Hollywood Gossip wonders if Kris is changing her name to get back at Caitlyn Jenner for some reason, or if their so-called feud is more or less being played up for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians and I Am Cait reality TV cameras.
