Rihanna Not A Fan Of Chris Brown’s Head Tattoo? ‘Diamonds’ Singer ‘Disappointed’ In Ex’s New Ink

Rihanna and Chris Brown may be igniting reconciliation rumors, but is the “Diamonds” singer dissing her ex-boyfriend’s new tattoo?

According to sources close to the Barbadian songstress, Rihanna is not a fan of Chris Brown’s new head tattoo which features a portrait of Venus De Milo, Urban Islandz reports.

Brown took to Instagram last week to show off the new ink, telling fans that the piece represents his love and protection over 1-year-old daughter, Royalty.

Venus De Milo; the Greek Goddess of Love. Bull; represents the Taurus that I am.Strategically placed on the left side of my head in protection of my heart for the Love of my Goddess… ROYALTY is everything and as man, we protect that with everything!

While Rihanna is no stranger to getting inked herself, the source explains that Rih is “not feeling” Brown’s new tattoos because she thinks he’s “going overboard.”

“RiRi is a big tattoo fan but there comes a point when too much is too much and in his case he went overboard getting those ridiculous tattoos on his head,” the Rihanna insider explains of Brown’s Venus De Milo tat.

“[Rihanna] is disappointed and told him point blank that was a poor decision and that he should slow down,” the source concludes.

Meanwhile, a source close to Brown reveals that the “Loyal” singer isn’t impressed by Rihanna’s reaction to his new artwork.

“He wasn’t too happy that she called him out about it,” the source admits, “But she got to be real with him about it. I mean even his fans think that they are ridiculous.”

Not long after Brown completed the work on his head tattoo, the singer took to Instagram to show of photos of his latest leg tats, which feature a Dragon Ball and portrait of Astro Boy.

While Brown may be garnering criticism from fans for his obsession with getting inked, Rihanna recently made headlines for contributing to her own tattoo collection as well.

People reports that last month, Rihanna visited close friend and famed celebrity tattoo artist, Bang Bang, in NYC while fresh off of her “romantic” vacation with rumored beau, Lewis Hamilton.

Rih stopped by Bang Bang’s shop to get “1988,” the year she was born, inscribed on her right ankle.

While the tattoo fueled speculation that suggests Rihanna was going to pull a Taylor Swift and name her album after her birth year, Rihanna has yet to comment on the inspiration behind her latest ink.
