Robert Pattinson Upset By FKA Twigs’ ‘Sexy’ Onstage Performances? Couple Ignite Split Rumors
Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs have found themselves at the center of split rumors once again, with new reports suggesting that Pattinson is “upset” by his fiancée’s “sexy” onstage persona.
According to the latest round of rumors plaguing the British couple, Pattinson is said to be “fed up” with Twigs’ sexual dance performed alongside her male backup dancers.
A new tabloid rumor, which has since been busted by the couple’s sources, suggests that FKA Twigs’ revealing outfits and sexual dance moves are creating “tension” within the duo’s relationship.
An alleged source reveals that Pattinson has become “jealous” and “controlling” over his soon-to-be-wife following the attention she has been receiving for her performances.
“Ironically, it’s the kind of edgy mystique that attracted Rob to her in the first place,” a source explains to the tabloid, “But now he seems to have become jealous and controlling and he wants her to tone it down.”
The “insider” goes on to note that “FKA thinks Rob is suddenly being very old-fashioned, and to her, just because there’s the possibility they’ll tie the knot shouldn’t mean she has to change who she is.”
Similarly, the tabloid quotes an eyewitness who alleges they overheard Twigs complaining about Pattinson’s controlling behavior on a phone call to a friend.
“It sounded and felt like to me she and Rob had recently had it out. She was saying that he was mad she was being too sexy and she wanted him to be more understanding of her art,” the alleged eyewitness explains, noting that Twigs even referred to her fiancé as “needy” and “overprotective.”
Despite the claims, GossipCop busts the rumors by explaining that it’s unlikely that Twigs, who has been adamant about keeping her personal life out of the spotlight, would allow someone to listen in on her private phone conversation.
Similarly, the site reached out to a real source close to Twigs and Pattinson who insist that there is absolutely no tension between the “Two Weeks” singer and Twilight actor.
The source explains that there is “no friction” between the happy couple, noting that Pattinson is not worried that the songstress is being “too sexy” during her performances.
The news comes just weeks after the duo sparked split rumors after sources revealed that Twigs had decided to push back their wedding due to evolving changes in their upcoming nuptials.
Despite the rumors, a source explains to People that Twigs and Pattinson’s wedding is still on, noting that the wedding has been pushed back because Twigs “can’t decide what [kind of] wedding she’d like to have.”
“She talks about it keeping as real and low-key and then wants an elaborate, glamorous Baroque affair,” the source further explains, noting that the duo’s nuptials have been pushed back “until autumn at the earliest.”
