Kanye West: Donald Trump Says He Loves Kanye West
As everyone knows by now, Kanye West said he is running for president in the 2020 elections. West made this announcement during the 2015 MTV VMAs when he was accepting his Vanguard award. Now that a lot of people have added their thoughts on Kanye West running for president, Donald Trump decided he should as well, and I don’t know if we are just jumped into some weird reality or what because what Trump said about Kanye West is actually a bit surprising.
On Thursday, Donald Trump said, “You know what? I will never say bad about him, you know why? Because he loves Trump!”
Donald Trump added that Kanye West has been so great. Great in what, we aren’t sure. Great at rapping? Great in marrying a Kardashian and having a child? Great at not smiling? Trump leaves us on a cliffhanger there.
During a press conference, Trump was asked about Kanye West announcing that he was running for president in 2020, and according to NBC News, Trump was ready with a reply.
“He goes around saying ‘Trump is my all-time hero.’ He says it to everybody. So, Kanye West, I love him.”
Trump adds that his opinion of Kanye West might change in a few years, especially if he has to run against him in the 2020 presidential debate.
During an interview with Rolling Stone, Trump said that he actually watched the VMAs and Kanye’s speech.
“He’s said very nice things about me in the past… extremely positive things. I was actually watching, I saw [his speech] and I said, ‘That’s very interesting. I wonder who gave him that idea?'”
Some people are suggesting that Kanye West got the idea to run for president after a fan in the audience yelled “Kanye for president” before Kanye actually mic dropped and said he was going to run for president in 2020.
Who knows if Kanye West will actually move forward with his presidential campaign, but now we know he has the backing of Donald Trump. Rihanna has also come out in support of Kanye, telling reporters that people are voting for Trump, so who wouldn’t vote for Kanye? We can all agree that the 2020 presidential campaign will be an interesting one if Kanye West does decide to run. How much fun do you think it will be if he actually runs against Donald Trump?
