Yolanda Foster’s Lyme Disease Treatment Continues

Yolanda Foster continues to fight back against the side effects of Lyme disease. Three weeks after having her 20-year-old breast implants removed, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is undergoing more treatment in hopes of finding a cure, or at least some relief from her symptoms.

On September 2, Yolanda Foster took to her Instagram account, where she shared a photo of herself hooked up to a number of wires.

“Time to get that brain back in gear……….. #NeuroFeedBack #LymeBrain #LymeDiseaseAwereness.”

Yolanda Foster was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, around the time she signed a deal with Bravo to appear in a full-time role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ third season. Then, in 2014, as she completed filming on the Bravo reality show’s fifth season, Yolanda Foster suffered a relapse, which she spoke of in a blog weeks later, revealing to fans she could no longer read, write, or watch television. Then, during filming on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 reunion, Yolanda Foster broke down and was forced to make an early exit from the set.

As the Inquisitr reported last month, Yolanda Foster’s husband, David, spoke to the UK’s Daily Mail about his wife’s determination to find a cure for the illness. During his interview, David offered the following quotes.

“It is a mission to get herself well right now and she also gets thousands and thousands of emails from people who have auto-immune disease, which sadly she can’t possibly answer. But [Yolanda Foster] feels that it’s part of her job to get to the bottom of this. She believes that if she cracks the code it will help a lot of other people with the disease”

“I’ve told her more than once, I’ve said, ‘You know, honey, you should really try and get better yourself first,’ and she said, ‘Yeah, but if I crack the code then a lot of people are going to get better,’ so she’s really dedicated to finding something that will really help her and in turn help others. So that’s just the way [Yolanda Foster] rolls and that’s just her.”

Although Yolanda Foster’s return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 6 has been up in the air since filming began in June, Brandi Glanville recently confirmed Yolanda Foster was filming the upcoming season during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Still, Yolanda Foster has yet to speak out about her upcoming Season 6 role.
