Kylie Jenner Goes Blonde: Reality Star Bleaches Hair, Explains Wig Use
Kylie Jenner is officially a blonde. The 18-year-old reality star has decided to have her dark hair dyed “ashy dirty blonde” just in time for the fall.
Kylie Jenner took to Instagram to debut her new look. She also explained why she’s been wearing so many wigs for the past few months. The Jenner teen shared a mirror selfie of herself wearing a white halter top and a tan suede pencil skirt.
However, Kylie’s dark roots are very much visible, as her hair fades from a honey blonde into a platinum blonde. She explained that she would switch up her hair color and style with various wigs so she could go to the lighter side.
“Took months of not dying my hair and wearing wigs to get my hair back to health so I can do this!! Thank you @priscillavalles @maishaoliver for putting up with me all day.”
Kylie also added that she’s coming for Khloe Kardashian’s style, literally.
“I’m going for an ashy dirty blonde for the fall. But this s**t’s a process! I’m coming for u khloe!”
Khloe Kardashian went blonde earlier this year and has been sticking to the look. Kendall Jenner teased her fans when she wore a honey blonde wig in one of her Instagram posts. And most notably, Kim Kardashian made waves at New York Fashion Week back in February when she debuted her platinum blonde hair. It seems like the Kardashian-Jenner sisters have blonde fever. Maybe they believe that blondes have more fun.
This isn’t the first time that Kylie has been seen rocking the blonde look. She was seen wearing a platinum blonde wig during her 18th birthday party last month. Kylie previously wore a brassy blonde wig with bold lips for Love magazine earlier this year. She took to Instagram to share her shocking new look with her fans.
It was also rumored that the Jenner teen didn’t like Kim Kardashian’s platinum blonde hair. She previously told E! News at a NIP + FAB beauty event that although she would dye her hair blonde, she wouldn’t do it anytime soon.
“I would go that far, but it’s her thing now, so I don’t wanna copy her!”
Well now’s a good time than any other since Kim Kardashian has converted back to her signature dark raven hair. But now Kylie will have to compete with Khloe when it comes to be the hottest blonde sister out of the family.
According to a previous report via ABC News, the youngest Kardashian sister has been experimenting with various shades of blonde since last December.
