Jennifer Aniston: Pal Courteney Cox Also Filming ‘Mother’s Day,’ Jen Happy For Pal Bullock And New Romance
While Jennifer Aniston has been working hard on set for her latest role in the film Mother’s Day, her good pal Courteney Cox has been putting her own efforts towards a film of the same name. Is this cause for concern between the two Friends stars? Not at all. As it turns out, Aniston’s latest film is entitled Mother’s Day, while Cox is involved in a project that has the title Mothers Day — without the apostrophe — and is one which is more reality-based.
AJC notes that the good friends are filming their separate projects in different locations, yet both are working alongside a star-studded cast.
“Aniston is filming in Atlanta. Directed by the great Gary Marshall, [Mother’s Day] stars include Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis. The plot, per imdb: ‘Intersecting stories with different moms collide on Mother’s Day.’ Courteney’s version, with stars including Christina Ricci, Sharon Stone, Roselyn Sanchez andSusan Sarandon, actually is Mothers Day, no apostrophe. That one, per imdb: “Interwoven stories of what it is to be a mom seen through the lens of photographer Rigby Gray.”
Both films are set to be released in 2016, however, as the publication notes, often producers begin filming with one name, then release the final reel under a different name when there is a risk of confusion. Perhaps this will be the case for Jen and Courteney’s near-identical titles.
Since Jennifer Aniston’s return from her romantic getaway with new hubby Justin Theroux, one of her other pals has sparked a new romance that the Cake star is all about. Sandra Bullock, a beauty who many claimed was set on remaining single for the time being, surprised fans and onlookers by stepping out with her new man, Bryan Randall. Randall was present at Jen and Justin’s secretive wedding along with Bullock, but since, the relationship has seemed to get serious. A source recently spoke with People in regards to Aniston’s view on Bullock’s new love.
“Jen and Sandra are great friends now. Jen’s very happy that Sandra is dating.”
The insider also noted that Sandra had introduced her new man to Jen way back in early July at an Independence Day party. Bullock, 51, and Randall, 49, have therefore done their best to keep out of the spotlight over the summer. It’s lovely that the pair stepped out to share in Jen and Justin’s big day. Jennifer and Justin have both expressed that they are very happy since tying the knot among their closest friends and family members.
