Could Cynthia Bailey’s full-time role on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 be in jeopardy after her fight with co-star Porsha Williams? As the Inquisitr previously reported, Cynthia Bailey and Williams got into a heated fight while filming Season 8 last month, and Bailey allegedly kicked Williams in the stomach, leading her to seek medical care.
On September 1, TMZ reported the following in regard to Cynthia Bailey’s fight with Williams.
“The [two] women began arguing about nothing and Porsha started calling [Cynthia Bailey] a b***h. Cynthia tried to disengage, walking to the other side of the boat, but in true form Porsha followed. Porsha got in Cynthia’s face, and that’s when Cynthia exercised self-defense, kicking Porsha in the stomach. Producers came in before Porsha could react and restrained her.”
TMZ also reported Williams received pain medication for her injuries after being taken to the hospital. However, according to a report by Radar Online, also on Tuesday, Williams had no plans to file charges against Cynthia Bailey.
“No one really knows what the arguments was about, but [Cynthia Bailey] lashed out and kicked Porsha in the stomach while wearing heels!” Radar Online’s source revealed of the brawl.
“[Cynthia Bailey] showed she’s just like everyone else on the cast and has a temper. She’s got some fire to her. Cynthia’s lucky Porsha has grown up since the Kenya incident and behaved herself. Otherwise, there would have been some weave on the floor!”
Cynthia Bailey and Williams both returned to the eighth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, allegedly in full-time roles. However, TMZ claims Cynthia Bailey may be facing a demotion due to her aggressive behavior. Last year, Williams was featured on Season 7 in a “friend” role after she got into a physical altercation with Kenya Moore during filming on the Season 6 reunion.
According to the report, producers of the show are currently reviewing footage of the fight, which was captured from The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8, to determine how bad the brawl actually was. If Cynthia Bailey is demoted, she will face not only a role reduction, but also a pay cut.
As for Williams, she is reportedly not in jeopardy of any discipline since she was not the attacker, but rather the antagonizer, which isn’t against Bravo’s rules.
Cynthia Bailey has yet to speak out about her and William’s fight.
