Kristen Doute And James Kennedy Split: Did ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Show Her Crazy Side?
Kristen Doute was determined to get Tom Sandoval back on Season 3 of Vanderpump Rules. All she wanted was to get Tom back, even though she was very immature and didn’t respect him as her boyfriend. He ended up leaving Doute after numerous accusations of cheating, and she was heartbroken that Sandoval started dating the women he was accused of cheating with.
But it didn’t take long for Kristen Doute to move on with fellow SUR employee James Kennedy. While Doute wanted to make Tom jealous, it didn’t seem to work. And her relationship with Kennedy was rocky. The two had a major fight at Scheana Marie’s wedding, and Kristen ended up walking away with another man. James was heartbroken, but the two managed to work things out for a while.
According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Kristen Doute is now a single woman, as she and James have split. The two broke up while filming the current season of Vanderpump Rules, which is expected to air this fall. Many had wondered if Kristen would return to the show since she was fired last year, and it sounds like fans will see how Doute is doing without SUR paying her rent.
“Kristen and James were together at the start of the season, but they broke up during filming,” a show source has revealed, adding, “They’re not currently together… although with them you never know.”
Doute’s friends may not be super surprised that she is single again. Some believed that James was merely someone she could use to get back at Tom. Plus, Doute’s relationship with him wasn’t exactly a pleasing one. The two fought quite a bit, and James was tired of hearing her talk about Tom all the time in the beginning. James hasn’t said why they broke up, but it is possible that he just grew tired of her drama.
“He is so supportive and so sweet. First and foremost, when James and I started hanging out right after Tom and I broke up, it wasn’t out of his bed and into the next one,” Kristen Doute told Wetpaint Entertainment when they first started dating, adding, “He really became one of my best friends so quickly and he had my back. That’s really what attracted me so much to him — other than being gorgeous and his adorable accent.”
Maybe single Kristen wants to focus on her new career. Since she is no longer working at SUR, Doute has to make money somehow. And with a smaller t-shirt line, Kristen has been working as a stand-up comic. Apparently, Doute has created her own live sketch show with her friend, Rachel O’Brien.
