Bravo Star Teresa Giudice’s Sister-In-Law Defends Joe Against ‘Bad Dad’ Allegations

Bravo star Teresa Giudice is currently serving a 15-month prison term as her husband, Joe, cares for her four daughters, Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5. However, while the Real Housewives of New Jersey star expected her husband to hold down the fort as she served her time, there have been many reports claiming he’s failed at his fatherly duties.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Bravo star’s husband was said to be “drowning his sorrows” ahead of his impending 41-month prison term, which will begin shortly after the Bravo star’s release later this year, instead of focusing on his children. According to the OK! Magazine report, the Bravo star’s husband was even deemed “unfit.”

“Joe is a completely unfit parent. There was good reason Teresa was so worried about leaving him in charge… Joe knows he’s going to jail in a matter of months, so drowning his sorrows is more important to him than his daughters. Joe should be ashamed of himself for letting his wife and his family down yet again.”

OK! Magazine‘s source also claimed the Bravo star’s daughter, Gia, had become a “substitute mother” for her three younger siblings.

However, denying the source’s claim regarding the Bravo star, the wife of Joe’s brother is speaking out.

“He’s usually at home with the girls,” Sheila told Radar Online of the Bravo star on September 1. “Joe’s just taking it day by day. He’s looking forward to Teresa coming home so they’ll have some time together.”

While the Bravo star’s upcoming sentence is surely something he struggles with, Sheila explained, “He really hasn’t talked about it. He’s just excited to see Teresa.”

In addition to his duties as father to his four girls, the Bravo star has reportedly been filming a dock-series in recent weeks, which will soon showcase his life without wife Teresa. As Radar Online previously reported, the Bravo star wasn’t necessarily to keen on allowing cameras inside his home, but ultimately, the Bravo star decided the show would be a good financial decision for himself and his family.

“The last thing Joe wanted to do was a reality show, but it was really the only option because there was no money coming in. With Joe still not working, just putting food on the table was becoming very hard without handouts from their parents.”

Bravo star Teresa Giudice will be released from prison on December 23.
