‘Game Of Thrones’ Spoilers: Is Lady Stoneheart Coming To ‘GOT’ Season 6?

Game of Thrones spoilers mention Lady Stoneheart as a character that might appear in season 6. These Game of Thrones rumors aren’t exactly new, though, as fans of the show expected her to appear in the season finale of season 4. A report from Hello Giggles on Tuesday (September 1) talks about a lot of the rumors and potential spoilers that Game of Thrones fans have to look forward to. The most notable could be that someone from the Stark family is about to make a return.

So who is Lady Stoneheart? Fans of the books know her very well, as the character is a resurrected Lady Stark. Catelyn Stark died in the Red Wedding episode of season 3, bringing an end to her time on the show. Within the books, Lady Stark returns as Lady Stoneheart when she is brought back from the dead by Lord Beric Dondarrion. Eventually she is able to form a group of followers ready to help her find revenge against anyone that has wronged the Stark family.

There has been a lot of debate about these potential Game of Thrones spoilers, with some fans feeling that she is about to appear, and others feeling she may not even appear on the television show. When it comes to the rumors, though, there is not a lot of agreement from sites writing about the show. One of the reports in favor of these rumors comes from fan site Irish Thrones.

As the show continues to film scenes for season 6 in Ballintoy (Northern Ireland), fans can’t help but get excited about the show coming back to HBO for another year. The problem is that production dates are scheduled from July to December 2015. It means there is a lot of filming that still needs to take place before the show is even ready to debut season 6. One report stated that the show wouldn’t be back until spring 2016.

So is Lady Stoneheart really ready to take the show by storm in season 6? The upcoming season is expected to use information and characters from three books (The Winds of Winter, A Feast for Crows, and A Dance with Dragons), so there is a lot of material to cover. Lady Stoneheart did come up in at least two of them, but not much is known about what will be included in The Winds of Winter yet. Adding this news to prior Game of Thrones spoilers and the upcoming season 6 premiere could set some ratings records for the show.
