Crystal Renay And Ne-Yo Did Not Secretly Get Married, But They Are Engaged And Expecting

Crystal Renay and Ne-Yo announced that they were not only engaged, but their family will soon be growing.

According to a previous report by the Inquisitr, it was originally reported that the couple had joined the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, who secretly tied the knot last month, and got married without telling anyone. However, Ne-Yo took to social media to set the record straight, explaining that they were ENGAGED to be married next year.

“Clearing the air..@mscrystalrenay and I are ENGAGED to be married next year. And yes we are expecting. #FromTheHorsesMouth,” he tweeted on Monday, August 31.

Although the marriage rumors proved to be false, Ne-Yo and Renay are expecting and will be welcoming their first child together. Ne-Yo already has two children from previous relationships.

Renay also confirmed the pregnancy news on social media, sharing a photo of the couple, who appear to be rubbing her growing baby bump. She also called out their haters, assuring them that they are very “HAPPY” together, and couldn’t wait for their “miracle” to arrive.

“No matter what they say our Miracle is on the way and I couldn’t feel more blessed,” she wrote. “Your negativity means nothing to us. We are happy, we’ve BEEN happy and will always be HAPPY no matter what they say. Thanking The Lord above for those who know my story know what this absolute miracle means to me.”

Ne-Yo was also met with criticism because he apparently played a role in his ex-girlfriend Monyetta Shaw’s decision to have her tubes tied, the Boombox reported.

“Clearing the air..I didn’t force Mo to tie her tubes. Mutual decision. And the procedure is reversible. #SheCanHaveKids #FromTheHorsesMouth,” Ne-Yo tweeted, later adding, “Clearing the air..I’m aware I don’t have to explain anything. I did it for my fans, my supporters. No BS and lies. #FromTheHorsesMouth.”
