Ireland Baldwin Goes Topless On Instagram, Follows No-Nipple Policy

Ireland Baldwin’s Instagram account has been getting all the buzz after she posted a topless image of herself two days ago. Ireland, 19, daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, is a fashion model. Her Instagram photo, captioned “Big Sur No Reservations,” shows her pulling down her wetsuit to reveal her bare breasts. However, Baldwin was able to keep her picture on Instagram, as she complied by their no-nipple rule and added a bee emoji to cover her exposed nipple, as reported by E Online.

Some celebs have been known to have had their Instagram photos deleted because of violating Instagram’s policy. One of them is Chrissy Teigen, who posted a fully nude image of herself while getting a spray tan. Although the image was able to stay online for about 11 hours, it was taken eventually taken down by Instagram.

According to Instagram’s community guidelines, they only allow photos that are “appropriate for a diverse audience.” Nudity is not allowed.

“This includes photos, videos, and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks. It also includes some photos of female nipples, but photos of post-mastectomy scarring and women actively breastfeeding are allowed. Nudity in photos of paintings and sculptures is OK, too.”

Being a model, Ireland Baldwin is obviously comfortable baring her body for all to see. Well, she at least leaves a bit to the imagination on her Instagram snaps. This isn’t the first risque image the teen has posted. She also has snapshots of herself wearing lace underwear baring a bit of her butt and there are also images of her in bikinis and sexy undergarments.

So far, Ireland Baldwin has been complying with Instagram’s rules. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that she agrees with Instagram’s guidelines mentioned above.

In July 2014, Ireland Baldwin was interviewed by Cosmopolitan magazine. There, she shared her views regarding Instagram’s policy.

“I think it’s so effing stupid, because there are boobs and nipples all over Tumblr, all over Twitter, all over the world. Just walk around and there are boobs all over life, and in great artwork, in classic paintings, and in sculptures; it’s everywhere. Instagram is just behind the times.”

Ireland also revealed that Instagram has deleted plenty of her images for different reasons, and because of that, she stopped using Instagram for a while. However, she has now returned and has been careful about which images to post.
