TNA News: TNA Wrestler Bram Arrested On Domestic Battery And False Imprisonment Charges, Suspended By TNA
In big news coming out of TNA Wrestling, it looks as if TNA talent Bram is in hot water with the law. For the first time in months, we’re finally not talking about TNA losing a television deal or dying off. However, they have a talent who is in trouble with the authorities, which is never good for any company to have to deal with these days.
Bram was arrested on domestic violence charges. TNA issued this press release today regarding Bram and what they are planning to do with him over the ordeal, saying as follows.
“TNA has been advised by the Gulfport, Florida Police Department that Thomas Latimer, known as Bram, has been arrested and charged with two felony counts of domestic battery and false imprisonment. TNA is working to gather facts and obtain additional information related to the arrest. ‘The charges against Thomas Latimer are serious, and he is immediately and indefinitely suspended from any future TNA-sanctioned events awaiting the outcome of the case,’ said TNA Executive Vice President of Television and Talent John Gaburick.”
Official charges from the The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is that they booked Bram on two felony charges; one for domestic battery by strangulation, and another for false imprisonment. Pinellas County says he is currently in jail and still awaiting trial.
This is a huge thing for Bram, as false imprisonment alone is a serious issue. It basically means he forced someone to stay within the confines of a certain area without letting them leave. He very well could have caged a person so that they could not leave the area — there is no telling how he was able to keep them present. Domestic battery alone, as well, is a huge problem.
This is not the first issue with the law for Bram. He was released by WWE years back over being charged with assaulting a police officer. So, now that he is a repeat offender with the law, he is in some serious hot water. He very well could be seeing jail time over this ordeal.
He is currently married to WWE Diva Charlotte. However, rumors have claimed that the two have been separated for some time now. After this, we certainly could be hearing some reports of divorce coming out. Charlotte was, of course, not involved in this ordeal as initially thought due to their marriage, so she is completely fine and should be appearing on WWE RAW tonight.
As for Bram, it is surprising that TNA has not fired him. While suspending him over the act is of course a good idea, firing him like WWE did sends a major message to people on the TNA roster. It is highly doubtful that something like false imprisonment is not going to be charged. All the person needs to prove domestic violence charges is bruises, cuts, etc. At the end of the day, Bram does not look to be getting out of these charges, so we certainly could be hearing of something big for the former Ascension member.
