‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Leah Messer’s Issues Explained? Season 6 Will Reveal ‘Complete Details,’ She Says

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer appears to be struggling with some major issues. Through the sixth season of the MTV reality series, the mother of three has been seen making a number of questionable decisions as a parent, including late-night meals and midnight bedtimes, as aired on MTV. And her ex-husbands, Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert, have even hinted at a possible drug addiction. However, according to the Teen Mom 2 star, she’s not addicted to drugs, and fans will soon learn of the “complete details” surrounding her May 2015 stint in treatment.

After sharing a sneak peek at the upcoming episode of Season 6 on August 29, the Teen Mom 2 star told fans on Facebook, “KEEP watching the show for COMPLETE details.”

Although many have made allegations regarding the Teen Mom 2 star’s possible “drug problem,” including Simms, the father of her twins, Ali and Aleeah, 5, Messer has maintained she is not dealing with a drug addiction. However, she did admit on the show that she had begun to feel as though she may have been becoming “dependent” on pain pills she was prescribed after the birth of her third child, Adalynn, 2. At the same time, the Teen Mom 2 star claimed to have stopped taking the medication.

“I have to leave my babies for a month, and I haven’t cried yet,” the Teen Mom 2 star told her mom in a clip shared last week by People Magazine. “I know I have to do this for them. I know I do, because the person I used to be, the happy person I used to be, is fading away.”

“When I was hurting so bad, I’d take the medication, because I could get up and go. I could take care of my kids. My back wasn’t hurting. I told you guys, ‘I’ve got this medication. I feel like I’m becoming dependent. I can’t take this medication.’ I stopped taking the medication.”

After telling her children goodbye, the Teen Mom 2 star entered a treatment program at an unnamed facility for just under a month. Since then, she appears to be focused on her young children.

During earlier episodes of the sixth season, the Teen Mom 2 star spoke to her lawyer about her use of pain medication for headaches, which she may or may not still be taking.
