Anna Duggar Doesn’t Get Mad At Her Husband’s Cheating And Porn Addiction

In a statement issued in May, Anna Duggar asserted that she knew about her husband Josh Duggar’s sexual abuse allegations.

Scandal broke out when it was revealed that Josh Duggar, 27, molested five underage girls when he was a teenager. Two of the Josh Duggar’s sisters, Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard, have spoken publicly about how their brother molested them and three other girls between 2002 and 2003.

According to People, however, there’s a possibility that the 27-year-old wife of Josh Duggar may not have been aware of all the events concerning her husband’s molestation scandal before she married him in 2008. A source close to Duggar revealed to People magazine that, “Anna Duggar and the whole family knew that something had happened but the scandal wasn’t portrayed in its entirety.”

The insider added that it seems Anna Duggar did not completely understand the extent of her husband’s troubled past because it was something that was “swept under the rug.” Anna Duggar, the source said, decided to marry Josh even after she found out he molested his sisters and three other underage because her parents still allowed her to marry him.

Anna Duggar met her husband in 2006 at a Christian convention. Both came from homes that emphasized strict religious upbringing and there are reports that Anna’s parents, Mike and Suzette Keller, are more extreme than the Duggars.

In light of her husband’s involvement with the Ashley Madison scandal, Anna Duggar continues to be supportive and has decided to stand by his side as he undergoes long-term treatment for his addiction to pornography.

A source close to Josh Duggar’s spouse of seven years shares, “Anna doesn’t get mad. You are not allowed to get mad because it’s ungodly for a woman.”

When details of his two accounts with Ashley Maddison was leaked to the public this month, Josh Duggar admitted to cheating on his wife and called himself the “biggest hypocrite ever.”

“I have been so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the pain, hurt and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and my family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in him,” Josh Duggar said in an official statement.

Two of Anna Duggar’s siblings reportedly tried to save her from Josh and tried to convince her to leave him, but she remains firm in her decision to save their marriage.
