Homeless Man Stabs Library Customer For Watching Porn

A homeless man from Brooklyn has stabbed another man in a New York City library after he saw his victim watching pornography on public computers. The attacker’s motives were confirmed by both fire and police sources to the New York Daily News.

The alleged attacker, 46-year-old Ralph Neptune, told police he was with his wife on the second floor at the Brooklyn Heights Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library (above) when he spotted the 52-year-old victim watching inappropriate videos on his computer screen. This led Neptune to confront the man, which is where trouble really began. One police source told the newspaper:

“He was with his wife and he accused the other guy of looking at porn. The guy looking at porn picked up a chair and hits him. The guy who was offended said, ‘I have a knife,’ and stabs him in the chest. Then Neptune’s wife started screaming, ‘How are we going to get back to Peekskill?'”

It’s that last bit I like best: Mrs. Neptune doesn’t want to miss that Peekskill bus, folks! Seriously guys, those damn things are like chicken teeth after 7pm.

Anyway, the (allegedly) porn-viewing victim remained conscious throughout the attack, and was carted off to Bellevue Hospital, where he is expected to survive his ordeal.

Meanwhile, charges against Mr. Neptune, the morally confused stabber, were pending late Tuesday.
