Kaitlyn Bristowe Says Both Ben Zorn And Ben Higgins Should’ve Been Given ‘Bachelor’ Opportunity

If Kaitlyn Bristowe had her way, viewers would see two men start off the next season of The Bachelor. Kaitlyn believes that instead of just having Ben Higgins as the Bachelor, it would have been better for him and another Ben, Ben Zorn, to start off the show together.

On Friday, Kaitlyn tweeted that there should have been a battle of the two Bens. Kaitlyn, who got engaged to Shawn Booth on the finale of her The Bachelorette season, included the hashtag “#itsonlyfair” to her tweet, a reference to the fact that she had to compete with Britt Nilsson for the Bachelorette role.

Many people replied to Kaitlyn’s tweet to say that they agree that the new season should start off with both Bens instead of just Ben H.

While Kaitlyn believes that both Bens should have been given the opportunity, that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t think that Ben H. will do a good job. Kaitlyn also tweeted that if there has to only be one Bachelor, she’s glad that Ben H. was chosen. She advised that Ben H. stay true to himself. She also joked that he should keep a female version of Ryan McDill around. Ryan was the contestant on Kaitlyn’s season who got drunk and touched Kaitlyn’s behind on the first night. His behavior forced host Chris Harrison to ask him to leave the show.

Ben Higgins was announced as the star of the next season of The Bachelor during Monday night’s After Paradise show. There had been reports prior that Ben Zorn, who didn’t make it as far for Kaitlyn as Ben H. but was still a fan favorite, was a top contender for the role. In late July, Chris Harrison told Us Weekly that having both Bens be on the next season was a possibility, since the show was able to pull off having both Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson start the show.

“Never say never. Because after we did it the first time with two Bachelors back with Byron Velvick, I think we literally said we will never do this again.”

Although Ben Zorn didn’t get The Bachelor role, he isn’t resentful of the man who did get it. A day after the announcement was made, Ben Z. tweeted his congratulations to Ben H. Ben Z. called Ben H. “one of the best and kindest guys” he knows.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kaitlyn Bristowe’s fiancé, Shawn Booth, also tweeted his congratulations to Ben Higgins.
