Marine Asks Ronda Rousey To Ball: Jarrod Haschert Posts Video Asking Celebrity Crush To Dream Corps Ball

Ronda Rousey is getting another invitation, but this time, it isn’t for a bout in the ring. Instead, she has received a Facebook video invitation to attend the Marine Corps Ball.

Jarred Haschert, 22, who goes by the name Jarrod Hash on Facebook, uploaded a short video on August 22 to invite Ronda Rousey to the ball, as E! Online reports. He asks all his friends to help spread the video in hopes that it will reach Ronda Rousey, 28.

“Hey guys, I’m trying to take Ronda Rousey to the Marine Corps Ball this year and I need your help to reach out to her and her fans. Please share this post and video. Thank you!”

As of writing, the video has been viewed more than 4 million times and has been shared more than 184,000 times.

In the video, Haschert introduces himself as a United States Marine who is based in North Carolina. He then starts talking about Ronda Rousey.

“You are my celebrity crush. Like, I love everything you do and I think you are a phenomenal person, which is why it would be my honor to take you to the Marine Corps Ball on December 11. I really hope this doesn’t get in the way of your training for your next fight in January, but I hope you take this in consideration because if you do, you would truly be making my dreams come true.”

As Jarred Haschert said in his video, the date of the ball is most likely a time wherein she will be training for her fight against Holly Holm, which is scheduled to take place in January. So far, despite having millions of views on the video, Ronda Rousey nor her rep has yet to respond to Haschert’s invitation, the Daily Mail reports.

It is not surprising that a U.S. Marine would invite a celebrity to the Marine Corps Ball. In fact, some of the celebrities that have been invited and attended the ball in the past include Justin Timberlake, Kristin Cavallari, Kim Kardashian, and Mila Kunis.

Ronda Rousey is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter, and aside from that, she has also appeared in several movies. It is not hard to see why Haschert has a crush on her. With her amazing skills and killer good looks, it’s no wonder that Haschert finds her to be a “phenomenal person.”

Jarred Haschert’s video invitation to Ronda Rousey has been met with positive response, with many rooting for the young Marine.

User Shannon Smith wrote, “U got this just stay positive and plus u have over 3 million views all over the country. I know this cuz I’m in Southern California. Good luck and thank you for your service it’s greatly appreciated!!!”

Another user, Susan Zack Rhoades, said, “I think its awesome I hope she says yes!! I’m from Jacksonville Camp Lejune NC please let us know if she says yes!!! Praying for you!! :)”
