Donald Trump Dodges Questions About The Bible And Sarah Palin Defends Him

Donald Trump dodges questions about the Bible by refusing to answer what his two favorite verses are and by being vague about whether he liked the New Testament or the Old Testament better, but that doesn’t seem to bother Sarah Palin.

In fact, Sarah Palin is ready to go toe to toe with Trump to air it all out on television, according to Mother Jones, especially since some people are attacking Donald Trump’s knowledge of the Bible.

While on the campaign trail, Donald Trump recently said that his favorite book was the Bible. While on With All Due Respect on Bloomberg, The Donald was asked by host John Heilemann what his two favorite verses were.

Donald Trump answered, “I wouldn’t want to get into it because to me that’s very personal. You know, when I talk about the Bible, it’s very personal, so I don’t want to get into verses. The Bible means a lot to me, but I don’t want to get into specifics.”

When the host asked Trump if he was “an Old Testament guy or a New Testament guy,” Trump vaguely said, “Probably equal.”

According to Business Insider, Sarah Palin is defending Donald Trump and his seemingly ambiguous answers about the Bible.

Palin took to Facebook to announce her own thoughts, and she started with a loud statement to the media. “WTH, LAMESTREAM MEDIA! STAY OUT OF MY BIBLE,” she wrote. She later continued with a more in-depth argument.

“WTH? Lamestream media asks GOP personal, spiritual ‘gotchas’ that they’d NEVER ask Hillary, or they’d feed the question to her and/or liberal cohorts before they asked it on-air (we know how these things work, lapdog media… the public’s on to you), so good on Trump for screwing with the reporter. By the way, even with my reading scripture everyday I wouldn’t want to answer the guy’s question either… it’s none of his business; it IS personal; what the heck does it have to do with serving as commander-in-chief…”

She had much more to say in Donald Trump’s defense, and she posted a picture of herself with Trump on her Facebook in anticipation of her interview with him on Friday night.

Palin’s thoughts on Facebook included a link to a blog post in which Donald Trump and other candidates “daring to Go Rogue” are defended from the biased media.

Donald Trump will likely have much to say in response to the criticisms and support of his dodgy answers during the interview with Sarah Palin, which airs at 10 p.m., Friday, on One America News Network.
