It seems that Subway has some explaining to do. Reports are surfacing that Jared Fogle’s inappropriate sexual feelings toward children have been going on for some time, and it is alleged that the Subway corporation knew. Right now, Fogle is facing some major charges, and it would seem that all of his offenses have not yet been revealed.
Fogle’s wife, Katie, is speaking out and saying that she knew nothing of her husband’s dark side, and that she found out with the rest of the public. According to the Inquisitr, when the information surfaced, Katie Fogle immediately filed for divorce to protect herself and her two children. She is quoted as saying she is “shocked and disappointed.”

Perez Hilton is reporting today that a Subway franchisee named Cindy Mills warned Subway in 2008 about Jared Fogle’s tendency towards paying minors for sex. Mills also alleges that Fogle told her that he took a trip to Thailand and had sex with children from ages 9 to 16. Mills claims that she passed along all of this information to Subway.
People Magazine is also reporting Mills’ story.
“He would just tell me he really liked them young,” she said.
Mills said she didn’t let it go there, and then turned to Subway’s Jeff Moody who was in charge of franchisee advertising with her concerns.
“He said, ‘Don’t worry, he has met someone. She is a teacher and he seems to love her very much, and we think she will help keep him grounded,'” Mills recalled to Business Insider.
Mills was so concerned that she hired a lawyer and is now going public with her whole story. She claims she was very uncomfortable with Jared Fogle, who is now facing five to 12 years in prison.
“Every time I would see him on TV in a commercial with his arms around these children, it would kill me,” Mills said. “I couldn’t stand it anymore.”
She became so distressed, she eventually sold her franchises.

USA Today is saying that Mills spoke to at least three Subway executives about her discomfort with Jared Fogle, and the idea that he represented the company with which she had franchises. Mills’ new allegations could trash the reputation of Subway, even though they have now cut ties with Fogle after the child pornography investigation began.
Mills has also suggested that Fogle asked her to sell herself on Craigslist. She said she did not go to the police because she feared Fogle’s “power and money.”
