Adele May Finally Be Dropping Her Next Album

Adele has been quiet for some time, three years, to be exact, after her success from her 2011 album 21 and the birth of her son. For the last year, Adele has been teasing her fans about a new album release, but then, nothing came up, until now.

In May 2014, Adele released a short tease that her new album, 25, may actually happen, and according to Billboard, her long anticipated album may be dropping around November. Adele tweeted “Bye Bye 25…see you again later in the year,” which suggested the title on her next album. The New York Times did some digging and found that Adele would not be releasing anything in 2014.

“There will not be a further new release by Adele during 2014 and consequently there will be a fall in XL’s turnover and profits.”

Not many details have come out about Adele’s new album, but she has been working with the likes of Pharrell, Danger Mouse, and Max Martin. Harpers Bazaar even says that there may be a country-inspired duet with Lady Gaga. Rumor has it that she is also back in the studio with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder who produced and co-wrote one of Adele’s hit “Rumor Has It.”

Billboard said that the inside track for Adele’s new album is great and even talked to Ed Sheeran about it. Sheeran said, “I haven’t heard [Adele’s album] but everyone I know who’ve worked on it is just like, Dude…that record!”

Inquiring minds want to know what is so amazing about this new Adele album and what can we look forward to, so they took to Twitter to express their desires for Adele’s new album.

Adele’s 21 album sold over 11 million copies and was the top-selling record for two consecutive years. The album broke numerous records, which means that Adele’s newest album has a lot to live up to. Adele and a rep for Adele have not commented on the rumors that her new album may be dropping in Fall, but she has been mysterious about the album for the last year, so that isn’t too surprising.
