Corey Simms & Wife Under Fire For Comments Made To Leah Messer

Corey Simms has faced backlash after accusing his ex-wife, Leah Messer, the mother of his 5-year-old twins, of having a drug problem on last night’s Teen Mom 2. On August 28, Jobs & Hire reported news of fan backlash on Facebook, which targeted both Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda.

Below are a few of the comments to Miranda and Corey Simms.

“I’m a step mom and feel [Corey Simms]’s wife is over stepping and talking down to Leah She needs to let Corey and Leah work it out and then just be a great step mom for the kids.”

“How about offer to HELP her instead of putting her down?! It’s clear she’s struggling. She needs support. Threatening to take the girls isn’t help or support.”

“Leah obviously needs help and she is at least seeking help. Corey and Miranda only want the fame and to make Leah look bad. They already forced her to have a drug test and she passed.”

Corey Simms has remained silent on social media in recent weeks, but his wife, Miranda, has shared a number of retweets with her fans and followers. Still, she hasn’t directly addressed anything going on with Corey Simms or Messer online.

During last night’s Teen Mom 2, Corey Simms and Miranda were seen sitting down with Messer at a local restaurant, where she revealed her plans to go to treatment, but she denied having an addiction to drugs. While Corey Simms told Messer he felt she had a “drug problem” and was lying, Messer insisted there was no drug problem, and that she was not going to rehab, but rather to “intense therapy” in hopes of becoming a better mom.

Still, as the Inquisitr previously reported, Corey Simms was not convinced Messer was clean of drugs, and brought up rumors that had been going around town.

“The rumor around town she takes anything she can get her damn hands on,” Corey Simms said angrily of Messer, as Us Weekly reported.

Corey Simms was married to Messer from 2010 to 2011, at which point the couple divorced after Messer admitted to cheating on him with an ex-boyfriend. One year later, in April 2012, Messer married Jeremy Calvert, who later filed for divorce. Corey Simms, meanwhile, married Miranda in June 2013, and the couple are currently expecting their first child together.
