‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Lea Michele Wants To Join The Cast

Is Grey’s Anatomy about to get a famous new cast member? Former Glee star Lea Michele recently revealed that she’d love to join the show for a short stint, and fans would absolutely love to see Lea on the hospital drama.

According to Hollywood Life, Lea Michele recently did an interview where she opened up about her career and personal life, saying that Grey’s Anatomy is one of the shows she would most like to be a part of, even if only in a very small role.

Also, it seems that Lea would like to play a doctor, saying she’s ready to slip on some scrubs for a role on the ABC drama that is getting ready to enter its 12th season. Of course, fans would love to see Lea Michele as a doctor at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, but a patient would be an interesting role for her as well.

“I’m ready. Put me in scrubs. I’d love a little arc. Just a little arc.”

Playing a role on Greys Anatomy would be a great way to top off Michele’s big year. In March she wrapped her six-season stint as Rachel Berry on Fox’s fan favorite musical comedy series Glee. She immediately landed a role on Ryan Murphy’s new series Scream Queens, which co-stars famous faces such as Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, and many more.

E! Online reports that Lea also opened up about finding love again with current boyfriend Matthew Paetz after the sudden and shocking death of her boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith in 2013 from a heroin overdose.

Cory’s death was incorporated into the storyline of Glee as his character, Finn Hudson, also sadly passed away, leaving a huge hole at McKinley High School and in the lives of his friends and family members.

“I wanted to make sure that I was OK with me, feeling strong and feeling happy on my own. I didn’t want anybody to fill any holes for me. I wanted to make sure that I was a whole person again and that no one was coming into my life to put me back together. I needed to do that on my own.

“I worked very, very, very hard and I got back to that place where I was genuinely happy and strong and ready to live again and see the world and, you know, bring in more beautiful experiences. And that’s when someone miraculously came into my life.”
