Apparently, Jennifer Lawrence Loves ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ And Kris Jenner, Here’s The Story Behind Momager’s Surprise Birthday Appearance

A few days ago it emerged that Jennifer Lawrence had spent her birthday with Kris Jenner, which immediately left people flummoxed over how the Oscar-winning actress and famous momager actually knew each other.

Well, we’ve finally got our answer, and it turns out that the Silver Linings Playbook actress is actually a huge fan of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. New York Times journalist Brooks Barnes took to his Twitter feed on Tuesday night to reveal that he’d interviewed Jennifer Lawrence and asked her about how she ended up partying with Jenner.

“Interviewed Jennifer Lawrence today and she explained that snap of her in bed with Kris Jenner… ‘My two best friends planned a surprised birthday with a big surprise within the surprise.”

“So I’m there, and people start singing ‘Happy Birthday.’ Kris Jenner comes out holding my cake, which is a pile of s***, with a sign that says, ‘Happy Birthday You Pile Of S***.'”

“My knees buckled. I fell. Seriously! It was the closest I’ve ever come to losing consciousness. I had NO IDEA.”

“I’d never met her before but we’ve always watched Keeping Up With The Kardashians. And then Kris Jenner and I sang ‘Build Me Up Buttercup’ on karaoke and took that picture.'”

Clearly, the addition of the 59-year-old momager, who is widely believed to have almost single-handedly molded the careers of her children Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner, meant that Lawrence’s 25th birthday will always be one to remember.

Kris Jenner originally shocked the world with the news that she and Lawrence had spent the actress’ birthday together after she uploaded an image taken by her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, to her Instagram account.

She captioned it with, “Happy Birthday you piece of s***… God I love you #Jennferlawrence thanks for making this night a night to remember… even if we did get caught… I love you Happy Birthday Gorgeous!!! #Bible #momager #doll.”

And who knows, now they are such close pals, at some point in the next few seasons, Jennifer Lawrence could even turn up on Keeping With The Kardashians to spend some more time with Jenner and her brood.

Jennifer Lawrence will be seen next in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 and David O’Russell’s Joy, both of which are due out before Christmas. In 2016, Lawrence will appear in next summer’s X-Men: Apocalypse.
