‘Teen Mom OG’ Wedding: Catelynn Lowell And Tyler Baltierra Filmed Nuptials For MTV Series?
Teen Mom OG stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra tied the knot in Charlevoix, Michigan, on Saturday, August 22, and according to a new report, the Teen Mom OG cameras were rolling for the series’ upcoming sixth season.
“The wedding was filmed for the show,” a source told Radar Online of Teen Mom OG on August 25.
During the Teen Mom OG wedding, which took place at Castle Farms, Lowell and Baltierra made the ultimate commitment to one another with their own personal vows.
“Tyler said Cate was his middle school sweetheart and mentioned they had two beautiful children together… There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It was the talk of the wedding.”
And while the Teen Mom OG couple’s parents, April Stotts and Butch Baltierra, have had a dramatic relationship in the past, they stayed civil during the Baltierra wedding.
“There was no drama. There was only crying out of happiness.”
Prior to the Teen Mom OG star’s wedding, Lowell and Baltierra dated for over 10 years, and welcomed two children together, daughters Carly and Novalee. As fans of the MTV couple will recall, Lowell and Baltierra chose adoption for their oldest daughter, who was born in 2009 while they filmed for 16 & Pregnant. But luckily, Carly wasn’t left out of the Teen Mom OG couple’s big day. In fact, she attended the ceremony and reception with her parents, Brandon and Teresa, marking what is believed to have been the first time Carly met the couple’s new baby girl, Novalee.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Teen Mom OG couple gushed over one another in an interview with Us Weekly, which was shared just hours after they said their “I dos.” Speaking to the magazine on Saturday, the Teen Mom OG pair spoke of their excitement in finally being man and wife.
“I believe Cate was brought into this world and destined to be loved by me, cherished by me, admired by me, and forever cared for by me,” Baltierra said of Lowell. “There is no one else I would rather be than her husband and the father of her children. … I’m so honored and blessed to be able to grow old with her.”
Added Teen Mom OG star Lowell, “I always prayed one day that Ty would be my husband, and I am beyond blessed that my prayers came true.”
MTV has yet to officially announce news of Teen Mom OG‘s renewal for its upcoming sixth season.
