Robert Pattinson And FKA Twigs Not Having Trust Issues Because Of Kristen Stewart, Despite Rumors
Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs may be making headlines regarding their upcoming wedding, but is the Twilight actor losing trust in his fiancée because of his former relationship with Kristen Stewart?
According to a false tabloid report, Pattinson is reportedly calling off his engagement to Twigs because he’s still hurt by Kristen Stewart’s affair with director Rupert Sanders.
An alleged source close to Pattinson explains that it’s “all Kristen Stewart’s fault” noting that the actress’ “cheating antics have Rob on guard.”
The source goes on to allege that Pattinson’s trust issues are intensifying now that he is in Ireland filming his new movie, The Lost City of Z, while fiancée Twigs is busy performing in Los Angeles.
The tabloid claims that Pattinson is worried because spending time apart is what led to the end of his relationship with Stewart, noting that it’s “happening again” because he “can’t keep an eye” on FKA Twigs.
“K-Stew has ruined his trust in women in general,” the webloid alleges, despite sources close to Pattinson revealing that the actor is happy with his relationship to Twigs.
Despite the tabloid claims, a real source close to Pattinson tells rumor-busting site Gossip Cop that there’s “no truth” to the latest round of rumors before insisting that there’s no “love triangle” between Stewart, Pattinson, and Twigs.
Rumors of Pattinson and Twigs’ downfall come just days after reports also suggested that the couple is pushing back their wedding because Rob is getting “cold feet.”
A fabricated story about the British couple emerged last week claiming that Twigs is attempting to “scare” Pattinson into calling off their nuptials by making outrageous wedding plans.
Despite the claims, a source close to Pattinson and Twigs dished to People magazine that while the couple have indeed pushed back their wedding until “autumn at the earliest,” it has nothing to do with Pattinson’s alleged uncertainty regarding his engagement to Twigs.
The source explains that the duo have pushed back their wedding because Twigs “can’t decide what [kind of] wedding she’d like to have.”
“She talks about it keeping as real and low-key and then wants an elaborate glamorous Baroque affair,” the source explains. “She was even talking at one stage about having a masked ball.”
The source also notes that an ever-evolving guest list is preventing the couple from continuing with their previous plans to wed this summer.
“It will now be bigger but how big, nobody’s quite sure at this moment in time. There’s no fixed [wedding] date but will probably be late in the year,” the source concludes.
