Kate Upton, Miranda Kerr Get Topless In Bed

Kate Upton and Miranda Kerr just don't want to get out of bed.

The beautiful supermodels, joined by Amber Valletta from the former ABC show Revenge, took part in a risqué photo shoot for V Magazine's "Best of the Best" issue. It features all three beauties in seductive poses, including Kate Upton, who cups her breasts while lying topless in bed.

Miranda Kerr, meanwhile, opted for a more sultry pose while donning sexy lingerie, while Valletta bared all with a pose that left nothing to the imagination.

Miranda Kerr Topless Photos

According to Entertainment Tonight, the inspiration for the topless Kate Upton photos drew from an infamous quote made some 25 years earlier.

"Shot by photographer Sebastian Faena, the eyebrow-raising spread is a tongue-in-cheek nod to supermodel Linda Evangelista's famous 1990 Vogue quote that she and fellow model Christy Turlington 'don't wake up for less than $10,000 a day.' "
And while the Upton V photos are definitely racy and titillating, Kate has yet to appear fully nude in any magazine. She recently opened up to Details as to why blaming social media has been the deciding factor to remain partially clothed.

"With social media and the Internet and not so great blogs and the attention like that, I don't think that my pictures would be received in the way that I'd want them to be received," Kate admitted. "That's why I've stayed away from [doing nude photos]."

Not that she doesn't appreciate when other sexy ladies like Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, and Lara Stone bare all. "For me, those photos are art," Upton declared. "I really appreciate those photos and I think those women are beautiful."

It's easy to see why Kate Upton might be wary of taking full-on nude photos. She was recently involved in the much scandalized "Fappening," which found celebrity cell phones belonging to the likes of Jennifer Lawrence and Upton hacked. The resulting leak plastered unauthorized Kate Upton topless photos, meant to be seen by her boyfriend, Justin Verlander, across the internet.

Kate's disdain for social media was so great following the Fappening that the supermodel claimed she almost ditched the promotional platform all together.

In the end however, Kate never quit, and overall is quite pleased with her career as it stands right now, despite never willingly going fully nude.

"I'm happy about it... The more my career grows, I think that people will see that I have a lot more to offer and a lot more to give, but I want to do it right and that's why it's taking me time. I'm patient about it. Now it's out of my hands."
The Kate Upton and Miranda Kerr issue of V Magazine goes on sale September 6.
