Emma Roberts And Lea Michele Stun At American Eagle Campaign Launch [Gallery]

It’s no secret that Emma Roberts and Lea Michele have become fast friends, since the two actresses have been working on the Scream Queens set together, and Emma and Roberts are often seen together at social functions. Only last week, Emma and Lea were spotted together, both dressed in patterned dresses, as they attended the Teen Choice Awards.

Once again, the pair have been spotted together with Ms. Michele showing up at an event intended to support Roberts’ participation in a Photoshop-free American Eagle fashion campaign.

Roberts, who played hostess to the event, was dressed in a black dress with an underlying white crop top, while her Scream Queens gal pal Lea showed up to the event, which included a three-course meal, in a frilly white frock.

Emma is new to the concept of unretouched photography and Daily Mail reports that Ms. Roberts finds the new format refreshing.

“I’ve actually never felt more confident and comfortable on a set — which is amazing, because you don’t have that safety net.”

Ms. Roberts reports that she finds that she gains the most confidence from the support of friends and those she finds the most trustworthy.

“What makes me feel confident when I’m down is surrounding myself with good friends,” says Emma. “Especially as a girl, having people who build you up and make you feel like your best self is so crucial.”

Roberts knows the value of keeping good friends close, though Emma reveals that she doesn’t believe keeping enemies closer is always the best policy.

“I did a big friend-clearing a couple years ago, and now I only have people in my life who make me feel loved and confident.”

Just Jared reported that Roberts shared a photo of the event, showing the elaborate table settings with her Instagram followers.

“So happy to be celebrating my unretouched @aerie campaign with all my closest friends tonight #aerieREAL,” is the caption on Emma’s photo.

Showing her support for Emma’s latest endeavors, Lea Michele shared a picture of her own. The photograph with Lea sandwiched between Ms. Roberts and Michele’s former Glee co-star Becca Tobin speaks of Lea’s own desire to keep her closest friends near as well.

Ms. Michele’s caption is filled with support for Roberts’ unretouched campaign.
