Watch New England Patriots Vs. New Orleans Saints Live Online: NFL Preseason Week 2 Game, Streaming

Watch the defending Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots live online as they travel to the Superdome to take on the New Orleans Saints on Saturday, in the second of four National Football League preseason games for both teams, a game that could see significant playing time for Patriots second-year backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo after Tom Brady put on a jaw-dropping display of aerial precision in the two teams’ final joint practice session Thursday.

To find out how to watch the New England Patriots vs. New Orleans Saints NFL Preseason game live online, see the streaming information in the final paragraph of this article. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in New Orleans, 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time, 4:30 p.m. Pacific on Saturday, August 22.

In drills against the Saints’ full defensive unit at a practice facility in West Virginia Thursday, Brady completed 16 of 18 passes including a stretch of 14 in a row.

“Everybody knows Brady’s a Hall-of-Fame guy,” said Saints Defensive Lineman Kevin Williams. “He was making his calls, making his checks, kind of at his own pace out there, doing his thing. I mean, he’s a great quarterback. What more can you say?”

But after taking all of the practice reps Thursday as Garoppolo sat on the sidelines, it appears likely that the 38-year-old Brady will see limited action at the Superdome — the site of his first Super Bowl victory with the Patriots more than 13 years ago — with Garoppolo seeing the majority of in-game action.

Of course, if Brady’s “Deflategate” suspension is not overturned by a federal judge before the regular season opens, Garoppolo will become the Patriots’ starting quarterback for at least the first four games of the season — possibly more if NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell adds games to the suspension as he hinted in court filing last week.

The Saints, of course, have a probable Hall of Fame quarterback of their own in 36-year-old Drew Brees, who burned Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler — who leaped to instant fame making the game-winning interception in Super Bowl 49 for the Patriots — on four of six targeted throws.

How much action Brees will see in Saturday’s preseason game is also unclear.
