Megan Fox Officially Files For Divorce From Brian Austin Green


Megan Fox has officially filed for divorce from Brian Austin Green. Just days after it was reported that couple ended their 11-year-relationship, the former Transformers actress has signed the divorce papers.

Megan Fox is officially ending her five-year marriage to actor Brian Austin Green. The 29-year-old actress filed for divorce from her husband of five years, Brian Austin Green, on Friday, August 21. Fox and Green, 42, just announced their separation two days ago on Wednesday, August 19.

According to several news outlets, Media cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their split. Megan and Brian met back in 2004 on the set of the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith, as previously reported via the Inquistir. Megan was only 17 or 18 at the time, while Brian was in his early 30s. The controversial couple got engaged in 2006, and later married in 2010.

The pair appeared happy whenever they stepped out on the red carpet or walked hand-in-hand in candid photos together. Fox and Green are also the proud parents of their two sons, Noah, 2, and Bodhi, 18 months. According to a report via TMZ, Fox is seeking both joint physical and legal custody of her children with the help of Hollywood lawyer Laura Wasser. The couple has no pre-nup, which means that their assets will be divided evenly 50/50. However, Fox is expected to pay Green spousal support for undisclosed health issues and having a lesser income.

Megan makes more money than Brian thanks to to the success of her Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchises. As for Brian, he’s known for playing David Silver on the hit ’90s teen drama Beverly Hills 90210.

An insider hinted to Us Weekly that “things have been rocky” between the attractive couple. Another insider added that Fox has been acting “independent” and has gone “weeks without talking to another human.”

“She’s gone off and done her own thing recently,” according to the insider.

Although their divorce comes as a shock to their fans, Megan and Brian have remained “very amicable” during their split, according to the TMZ report. Megan and Brian are also living in the same home, even though the stunning beauty has been going off and doing her own thing.

It’s been rumored that the reason why the couple split was because they were fighting over Megan Fox’s career. Sources close to Fox and Green said that their arguments were over Fox’s “obsession with getting film roles.” It was assumed that Green would prefer to have his younger wife at home and raising his children.

The insider also added that Megan and Brian made the decision to go their separate ways six months ago. The couple was somehow able to keep the status of their troubled relationship private.

Brian Austin Green was seen in the latest episode of Bravo’s Flipping Out without his famous wife. Brian was filmed on the reality show from November 2014 through April 2015, but without Megan Fox at his side. When Jeff Lewis and Jenni Pulos asked Brian why his wife was MIA, he kept the conversation to a minimum, according to a report via E! News.

Sources told the celebrity gossip site, “You can probably draw your own conclusions as to why she didn’t make an appearance.”

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green were last spotted together in Beverly Hills on June 9. The siren was seen without her wedding ring this past Sunday, while Brian was spotted with his wedding ring at the gym on August 6.
