‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Alum Tommy Flanagan Joins Sharon Snow In ‘Running Wild’


The upcoming film Running Wild has added two new stars to its list of growing cast members. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tommy Flanagan and Dorian Brown will be appearing alongside Sharon Stone in the new drama.

Brown is set to play the role of a widow, named Stella Davis, who is faced with the prospect of losing her beloved ranch. In order to save her ranch, she employs a group of convicts to help her rehab a number of wild horses spread throughout her land.

For his Tommy Flanagan, who is well known for his role as Filip “Chibs” Telford in the hit biker drama Sons of Anarchy, will be playing the leader of the group of convicts that Brown’s character hires on her ranch.

The storyline in the movie follows the ranch owner as she fights to save her ranch while learning invaluable lessons about greed, prejudice, and vanity.

Meanwhile, Stone is set to portray the main antagonist in the movie. Stone’s character is named Meredith, and while little is known about how her character will try to sabotage Davis’ attempts to save her ranch, her role is sure to attract more attention to the upcoming film.

Filming for the new movie has already begun in Northern California. The film is being directed by Alex Ranarivelo, with the script being written by Brian Rudick. Christina Moore, Forrest Lucas, and Ali Afshar are producing with the backing of ESX Entertainment.

Along with his seven year run on Sons of Anarchy, Flanagan has also appeared in numerous projects including Gladiator and Sin City. Flanagan is also set to appear as the lead character in two upcoming films, including Wild for the Night, directed by Benny Boom, and Light Wounds. Light Wounds is based on the true story of former Air Force pilot who struggles with schizophrenia. Flanagan is represented by Gersh and Untitled Entertainment.

For her part, Brown reached popularity for her role in the hit Netflix comedy-drama, Wilfred. In addition to her role on Wilfred, Brown also appeared in the baseball drama Home Run, which was released in 2013. The actress is represented by Domain Talent and McKeon-Myones Management.

Although production for the upcoming movie, Running Wild, is well under way in California, there is no word as of yet on an official release date. That being said, fans can expect the film to hit theaters sometime in early 2016.
