Porn Star ‘Kayla Kupcakes’ Flashes Judge In Florida Courtroom [Video]
Self-described porn star Kayla Kupcakes had her day in court, and it turned out to be quite revealing.
The woman apparently working in the adult entertainment field under that name flashed Broward County, Florida, Judge John Hurley during her bond hearing.
Susan Marie Surette, 54, (aka Kayla Kupcakes), in court on a disorderly intoxication charge, told the judge on Wednesday when he asked what she did for a living that she is a hairdresser with 30 years of experience, and also under her stage name works as a porn star and escort.
“Okay, I guess that kind of sums everything up,” the judge deadpanned in the hearing conducted via close-circuit TV.
While Hurley was conferring with the prosecutor and defense lawyer about the disposition of the case, Kayla Kupcakes began complaining that she was a victim of police brutality. She then lifted up her shirt to show the judge the bruises in addition to those on her arms.
“Oh my lord,” a visibly shocked Hurley said after she exposed herself in court.

“The judge set Surrette’s bond at $100 and ordered that she under a medical evaluation,” Miami TV station WPLG, Local 10, reported.
A man who purportedly is Surette’s lawyer can be heard in the background telling the judge that “She’s somebody that needs help. She’s not going to get the help that she needs at the jail.”
According to the Mirror, “On her own website she advertises she’s a porn star, escort and private dancer catering for a number of fetishes”
“Surrette has been in and out of court 10 times over the past few years for minor offenses,” NBC News Miami reported.

The Kayla Kupcakes case isn’t the first time that Judge Hurley’s otherwise routine and high-volume bond hearings attracted attention on social and news media outlets. In January, he admonished a public defender that a black man running from alleged police brutality is not an appropriate defense in court. The generally good-natured judge later apologized for losing his cool.
In April 2014, Judge Hurley seemed stunned when he presided over a bond hearing for a man named Edward Cocaine who was busted on drug charges.
When an exotic dancer who put on an X-rated show in a jail cell after being taken into custody was brought before him in May 2014, the judge declined to read all of the allegations on the record.
“I’m definitely not going to say what’s on page three… that’s a doozy,” he admitted.
