Mug Shot Revealed: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Jenelle Evans Arrested, New Details Surface
The latest mug shot of Jenelle Evans has just hit the web. Following her assault arrest last night, Starcasm shared the Teen Mom 2 star’s new mug shot, in which she is seen makeup-free — and understandably upset.

The mug shot shared by Starcasm was joined by several other mug shots from the reality star’s previous arrests.
Prior to news of this latest mug shot, Evans was arrested for allegedly assaulting her former fiance Nathan Griffith’s new girlfriend, Jessica Henry, whom he began dating just days after he split from Evans.
In a statement to the Ashley’s Reality Roundup on August 20, which was shared prior to her mug shot, Evans’ rep, Johnny Donovan, gave the following details regarding what went down between Evans, Griffith, and Henry.
“Nathan provoked her. That’s what he does, he tries to make her look bad and he succeeded today. That’s pretty much it… She’s been really focused. She just got a new house in Wilmington, North Carolina. She’s trying to move away from the drama, trying to move away from Nathan. She’s been really focused and really positive, and then this happened today.”
Although the mug shot is surely bad news, it isn’t necessarily surprising. Because of Evans and Griffith’s volatile relationship, the police had already responded to a number of alleged altercations between them. In fact, there have already been at least two arrests made in the last year because of their relationship drama. Evans was dealt with a mug shot earlier this year after she reportedly assaulted Griffith, and he posed for a mug shot in March after she claimed he ripped off her engagement ring, causing a laceration on her finger. Ironically, the incident just aired on Teen Mom 2 last night, hours before Evans’ latest mug shot was revealed.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Evans is currently trying to regain custody of her 6-year-old son, Jace, whom her mother has cared for since his 2009 birth. Needless to say, her mug shot arrest will surely not help her case, especially because the mug shot comes after years of legal issues.
No word yet on whether Evans’ mug shot and arrest will be discussed on Teen Mom 2, and Evans has yet to speak out about the issue.
