Killer Professor Admits To Cooking Victims And Putting Them In Stew And Pies, Says Humans Taste The Same As Beef

The former University professor Jorge Beltrao Negromonte, 54, of Garanhuns, Brazil is currently serving 23 years in prison for taking part in the brutal murders of three young women, according to the Mirror. Just a few years after his conviction, he admitted to not only burying the bodies in his back yard, but he would cook his victims flesh and eat it with stew and pies, claiming that humans taste the same as beef.

Negromonte didn’t act alone; however, his 54-year-old wife Isabel Cristina Pires and his mistress Bruna Cristina da Silva, 24, all formed a religious sect where they would call their murders “population control.” The trio would take out anyone who they believed had “bad souls” and would give birth to “thieves and low lives.”

Once the killing was done, they would skin the flesh off of their victims and eat it in hopes that it would cleanse the women of their sins, according to the Daily Mail.

“The women would prepare the meat. I can’t remember if we ever fried it like a steak. I did buy a mincing machine for Bruna, but I’m not sure if she used it. The meat would last for three or four days. We would have it for lunch and dinner until it was all gone,” said Negromonte.

He continued on to say, “For people to be safe, I need to be in here. If I were let out as I am today, I could kill another one. Human meat, for me, is no different to beef.”

The cannibal’s first victim was 17-year-old Jessica Pereira, who had a one-year-old daughter. After meeting her in May 2008, they concluded she had a “bad soul” and wanted to lure her to their home for cleansing. They eventually murdered the young woman and ate her remains, but kept her daughter alive and raised her as their own. She too was given her own mother’s flesh to eat as well as other victims they murdered.

The trio killed two more women – Giselly Helena da Silva, 21, and 20-year-old Alexandra da Silva Falcao – before their sick crimes came to an end in 2012 when they were arrested and charged with the murders. But during an interview, Negromonte hinted that there could be more murders. He claims that “details about the murders and his motives remain untold.”

Although he took part in killing the three women and eating their flesh, Negroponte claims that he never meant to kill anyone. He says his mistress took advantage of the fact that he was a paranoid schizophrenic and she practically made him kill.

“When I have an attack, I see shadows in human form dashing around me, and I hear voices speaking at once, telling me what to do. If someone tells me that a person is wanting to harm me, I will go for them. I have no control over what I’m doing, but other people can use me,” Negromonte said to the reporter.

“It’s happened here in the prison. The voices started telling me I should be here, that I should be out there teaching people. Then one of the inmates told me something about one of the guards, and I went for him. If he hadn’t closed the metal door behind him at that moment, I would have killed him.”

“Bruna knew she could control me. She was the one who wanted to murder the women. It was her idea to eat them, because we had broken the seventh commandment (Thou Shall Not Kill) and needed to be purified. She convinced me to stop taking my medicines, because she knew that I would start having my attacks and then she could use me,” he added.

“Like it or not, if it were not for the presence of Bruna I wouldn’t have done the executions. She was able to dominate me.”

Despite his claims, Negromonte was convicted in 2013 of brutally murdering three young women and eating their remains. The cannibal received 23 years in prison.
